Chapter 19: The Radio Host

Today was the day. I have been waiting for for so long. My eyes slowly flicker open to the ceiling of my hotel room. Excitement feels me knowing exactly what the day will bring. I swing my legs over the side of my bed. I slowly stand up and walk over to the Mirror. My violet hair wasn't a tousled mess. My nightgown hung on the hips. Something flickered in my mind.

This happened about five months ago. He had come to me and said that he had something to show me. I didn't understand yet I just went along with it. He brought me to a private area and stated, "My darling Alice I have something to show you." With that, he snapped his fingers.

Suddenly, you were in a snowy Forest. The trees by Baron of leaves. The sky was dark as night in the human world. In fact, it looks like we were in the human world and I knew we weren't. I looked at Alastor as he smiled at me as he always did. Something was off about the smile though you looked as if he was in pain by showing me this. What was he trying to show me? The oldest hand out to me and I set my hand in his. He pulls me close and whispers in my ear, "Darling I have been wanting to show you how I died for the longest time. I just never could bring myself to do so." Then I hear the sound of footsteps crunching on the snow coming from the woods. I look in the direction of the sound see Alastor? How he was right next to me. I watched as he was dragging a body across the snow. A blood trail following behind. He stood up straight and laughed a bit. All too soon I heard a loud gunshot Pierce through the wind. Then around Alastor, as a human blood spilled from his head as he fell to the ground standing snow beneath him. So this is how it happened. I felt hot tears streaming down my face stronger than when I first saw him dead. I began to shake a little bit but remember that he was next to me and he was safe. I looked at him with teary eyes he looked at me and threw me into a strong embrace. I gripped his coat with both my hands and bury my face into him.

We stood there for what seemed like hours before another set of footsteps could be heard in the snow. I look towards them to see me. The horrified look on my face from back then. I as if I had a worse look on my face at the moment. I watched as I cried to help myself over his bleeding corpse. I yelled his name as I tried to get him to wake up. But we all know he was dead then. I watched as a script his body up onto my back. Then I ran off with him on my back all the way home. Course the scene changed my memories only had to bury. When I hypnotize that priest and killed him afterward. And then I watch my own fall into insanity afterward. My memories of the time when I was completely insane finally showed. The hundreds of people I killed during that time. I never regretted a single kill. Then at the end of it all, I watched as the bowman shot the arrow through my neck. Of course, this causes me to cry more my death was tragic for me. Of course, no one ever really saw it. He was the only one to see it. I felt his grip tighten around me as he watched the scene. He never knew how I died before now. He never knew where his body went. I looked into his eyes only to see if you cheer straining to fall from his eyes. I pulled him down into a long kiss. I didn't know how long it was before we pulled away. I felt as if we got closer after that moment. It was something just between the two of us. I wouldn't want it any other way.

I let out a long sigh as I begin to get ready. I throw on my long wedding dress. Afterward, I hear a knock on my door and Angel's Voice, "Yo toots you ready to get your hair done?" I thought I was a little chuckle pushing the memory bank from my brain and then spoke, "Yeah come on in." I hear the door open and shut as Angel made his way into my room. I sat down at the vanity is angels' story behind me and began to mess with my hair. Actually, about 3 hours Angel working on my hair he was done and oh boy did it look wonderful. I was so happy with how he did it. This is why I chose Angel as, the hairdresser. I turned around after he was done to look at him he was wearing the bridesmaid dress I had given him. Soon Charlie and Vaggie head into the room. Charlie held the bouquets in hand as I took one look over me. I smiled and embarrassment I've never been the center of attention like this. Charlie jumped up and down very happily. Angel said, "Lookin good toots. Your gonna kill it out there." My smile widened at his comment. We have all been through so much in the past couple of months. I'm glad it's all over for now. I guess our wedding was a celebration of everything being over. Hopefully, this is the last of it and nothing else will happen.

Soon, I was ushered out my door and down the stairs toward the lobby. To be honest I don't know if this is very nervous. I was been pushed to the elevator as all the others join me inside. I watched as the numbers on the elevator counted down to the lobby floor. It definitely was the final countdown. Time seemed to slow down very much so I patiently waited for that elevator to reach the floor. I make it my hair and my dresser all perfect. The wedding was perfect and all the family members I wanted were there. I did tell Alastor he could invite his family but he said he didn't want to. Of course, I respected his wishes. Finally, the elevator reached our floor and we stepped out.
