Registration Day

The first step with blending in with humans was to register Lucial and Nathan to a human school. The team of four get into their human get-up outfits and head to the nearest High School they could find. Cherokee High School. A school of 30hundred plus students. The campus is like a college campus. The four of them head to the office to talk to the principal. Lucial and Nathan sit being Cyren and Zane. 
"So you're looking to register your children to our school?" The Principal asks as he adjusts his papers.
"Yes, sir. We'd like to get them into school as soon as possible." Cyren states. Zane nods and the principal sighs. 
"I can get registration documents in an hour, hour and a half." The Principal explains, "your children may look around the campus if they wish, they'd just need to wear these visitor badges to avoid any conflict with other staff." he adds. Lucial and Nathan take the badges and start exploring campus while Cyren and Zane continue to talk to the principal. 
Lucial and Nathan look around the campus, getting glances from various humans. Eventually, they get some laughter when they bump into a door. 
"Why isn't it opening?" Lucial whispers to Nathan. Nathan shrugs as he waves his hand by the door trying to get it to open. 
"How did Cyren get it open?" Nathan says as he waves his hand. A person lightly pushes him aside and opens the door for them. Lucial and Nathan look at each other and back at the guy. They walk off like nothing happened. When they're out of sight, they start talking.
"Ok, that almost screwed things up. Let's make a note: Humans don't have doors as we do." Nathan says. Lucial nods and they assess what they need to do now. They go to the entrance of another building on campus. 
"So it's push, right?" Lucial asks.
"I think it's pull. Try both." Nathan sighs. Lucial tries to push the door but nothing happened. She pulls and the door opens up. Lucial looks at Nathan with astonishment and Nathan looks at her with the same look. They smile with success. They enter the building and look around. 
"So many storage units. I mean, the ship had a lot but damn." Nathan points out. Lucial nods. He looks over at her and notices her face glowing with wonder. 
"Humans, Nathan. Real-life humans." She iterates. A muffled vibrating sound is heard. Nathan reaches in his pocket and takes out a device similar to a smartphone. He looks at it and then at Lucial.
"We're registered. We have to head back to base now." Nathan says. Lucial nods and they meet back with Cyren and Zane. They got a debriefing from Zane. 
"Alright, so. We registered you two to this school. We've had to make up some last name so we're now known as the Aurora family. Understood?" Zane briefed. Everyone else agreed and left to go back to the home base to rest up for the first day of human school.
