F/D stands for Favorite Dessert :)

"Eccentric" is the word I'd like to use to describe the relationship between me and Legosi while others would use the terms "weird" and "odd" and most normal animals would agree but in this case, I didn't find it all that odd I mean the height difference is pretty extreme but that just gives me an excuse to ride on his shoulders where I would get access to view the world from a higher perspective which is nice every once in a while for little ol' rodent-like me. Not to mention with all the fur he has he's practically a walking heater which is nice and comes in handy on the occasion that I'm feeling chilly.

"Y/N?"

huh?

I looked up from my paper to look at Legosi who had his head tilted

"Are you alright Y/N? you seem a bit spaced out"

I giggled and nodded my headed

"I'm alright just thinking"

he tilts his head again

"about what?"

I look him in the eyes to my best effort with our still significant height difference and smile

"what I'm gonna have for lunch..but you for the most part"  

Legosi turned bright red, he reached over to pinch my cheeks  with his fingers

"Hey stop that! that hurts my cheeks, they're tiny that's not fair" 

He stopped pinching me but his fingers remained on my cheek stroking it 

" I can't help it your chubby cheeks are too cute" 

I  pouted he was the one making me blush now, and he mentioned my chubby cheeks oh geez this boy will be the death of me.

"Hey..-" he started "Speaking of Lunch, Why don't we go out and grab something to eat?"  

before  I could respond he spoke up again 

" I mean that's only if you want to! I don't want to pre-"  I interrupted him before he could finish

" I would love too Legosi as a matter of fact, let's go right now!"  

"Right now? as in now?" he asks  

"hahaha yeah right now!" I respond "Onward my gentle giant," I say pointing towards the exit door.

"Can I ride on your shoulder?" 

"always you silly Hamster" 

He picks me up gently and places me on top of his shoulder  I grip on to his suspenders that sit on his shoulders, don't get me wrong being upon his shoulders is fun and I get to feel the breeze but with him being 6'ft  and me basically kissing the floor the height sometimes gets scary. I must've been shaking a bit because Legosi's head turned slightly probably worried about why I was noticeably shaking.

"Are you ok?" he asks 

"Y..yeah just not used to it y'know?" 

I heard him chuckle and felt the vibration of it 

 "after all the times you've used me as transportation and you're still not used to it?"

I hit his shoulder with my tiny fists 

"sh...shut up I live close to the ground and practically kiss the floor on a daily basis," I say 

he laughs

"that's true, sorry" 

I wave my hands in dismissal

"It's fine I was just messing with ya, but where exactly are we going?"  

I realized that we were no longer on campus and instead we're outside surrounded by a bunch of other animals. We were nearing a cutesy building that had several flowers in the front.

"Well you said you wanted to  go out and eat and I've seen this cafe around for a while and wanted to try it out with you.."

"So this was basically a ploy to get me to go out with you?" I questioned 

"W..Well!  when you put it like that it makes it sound bad..."

"I'm just teasing you don't sweat it let's go in already I'm starving," I say

He shakes his head and makes his way inside,  we're greeted by a female fox asking us if we'd like a table or booth 

" table please" Legosi responds

the female fox in front of us smiled and nodded and began to walk towards an empty table near a window she signaled us to take a seat while putting down different sized menus on the table. 

"Take as much time as you need and I'll be back to take your order"

We thank her as she leaves.

" so what are you gonna order?" he asks 

"I'm not sure but I'm kinda in the mood for something sweet," I say 

"I'm pretty sure they serve F/D here" he says 

I look down at my menu realizing that he's right 

"well I guess I'll be having that then" I say

not even 10 minutes have gone by and the fox waitress is already at our table but in her hands, she has a milkshake with two very different sized straws. I was confused for a moment till I realized what was about to happen

"here ya go our famous strawberry shake on the house for you lovebirds," she says

"W..wait we're no-!"  I interrupted Legosi before he could finish

"Thank you, ma'am we'll savor every drop! and if you don't mind could we get two orders of  F/D please"

"sure thing I'll be back shortly with your desserts" the waitress turns around and leaves making her way to the kitchen.

Legosi looked down at me probably about to question me 

"Why did you stop me?" he questions

"...because why would we toss out a good shake hehe.." 

"You've got a point ...but I know that's not entirely true.." he says 

I  try to look away anywhere but at Legosi, I signal him to give me his hand and he does so, I hold on to finger gently.

"What's going on Y/N?" 

"what would you say if I told you I liked you...more than a friend?" 

I felt Legosi's hand go stiff for a split second 

"I'd say I like you too, and I have for a while" he confesses 

I lean into his hand hugging his finger  

" I'm glad to hear that Legosi"

A/N did I work on this instead of my science hw? yes, yes I did but anyways @HardWare3Honey thank you so much for requesting! I hope I was able to capture and write down what you had in mind and I apologize for the delay. Having said that imma go work on that science hw.
