Growing up half husky and half grey wolf you got used to the stares and eyes that seemed to follow wherever you went. But the one thing that would always manage to get you were the whispers. The gossip was sometimes hurtful especially when it came from your classmates, but you learned to hold your head high and not let it bother you because today was a special day. You were enrolling to Cherrynton academy and today was your first day and so far all the animals around you seemed to be welcoming.

"Hey!"

You turn around and are met with the sight of a golden retriever looking right at you,

"Oh hello! who might you be?" you ask

" I'm Jack and I can't help but notice you seem a bit lost are you new here?" he asks

"Was it really that obvious?" you sweatdrop

"Mhm! you kinda have this aura around you plus the whole school's been talking about the transfer student!" He exclaims

You let out a laugh

"Man I didn't think I'd be this popular on the first day" you joke

"You'd be surprised how crazy they go for the transfers" he jokes back"but I just wanted to come over and introduce myself and..." he looks behind him, you follow his gaze and see a tall wolf sitting in a nearby bench making hand signals at the Retriever.

This goes on for a few more seconds before the worlf notices your stare and immediately drops his arms down to his sides 'he's surely peculiar' you giggle at his antics and send him a small wave.

"Ah, I see you've already spotted my friend back there" says jack

"He's quite hard to miss" you say

"Well what do you say we head over and Introduce you two?" He asks

You nod and follow after him approaching the wolf who was seated on the bench. Getting a closer look at him you truly realized how tall he is, before you could say anything he stares at you wide eyed, maintaining eye contact for a few long seconds before being interrupted by his friend

"Ahem..."

You redirect your gaze back to Jack

"Well now that you're staring contest is over would you like to introduce yourselves?" he teases

The wolf suddenly jumps from his seat"I...I'm Legosi nice to meet you..?-"

"Y/N " you finish for him and extend your hand for a handshake his much larger hand wraps around yours and gives it a nervous shake.

"Hope we can get along Legosi!" You beam at him, he slightly flinches from your enthusiasm but for a second you can see a small small form and his face"Same here Y/N"

A month goes by and everything seems to fall into place for the first time In a while you feel like you belonged. You've gotten to make many new friends who don't seem to mind that your a hybrid or have at least found out. The best part of it all was that you've become great friends with Legosi and Jack so great infact you dare consider them bestfriends. But things were different with Legosi.... you felt exceptionally fond of him you found yourself constantly tripping over your words or stumbling all over objects becoming a total clutz around him it was embarrassing to say the least.

You decided to call up Jack and ask him for some advice.

"You have a crush on hi-" your mind blanked at his statement and you immediately hung up the phone'WHAAAT?!' there's no way...you dial Jack's number again.

"Hello?" comes his voice from the other line

"ahh hi again...sorry about that it just caught me off-guard" you say
