Chapter 38

After defeating Gideon, the boys slept like the dead. Not everyone slept. Emily tossed violently and pushed her sister, who hugged her tightly like a Teddy bear. The girl dreamed of zombies who broke into their party and dispersed all the guests. But what was most frightening was that her sister had been bitten.

"Sister! Emily screamed, jumping up in bed. Glancing at the girl, she saw that she was fast asleep and had not been awakened even by a scream. Emily wanted to go back to bed, but her attention was drawn to the bright light that lit up the house. Everything shook like an earthquake. Cautiously, she slipped out of his grasp and headed down the stairs. The light came from a machine, which Emily immediately decided to open. But as soon as she pulled the handle, he was with her in the brunette's hand. Brunette scared looked back, and making sure that no one saw, innocently whistled and went inside, closing the machine.

The closer she got to the source of the light, the better she could hear the voice that was there. It was Stan's voice. Hearing him, the girl went faster and soon came into the room in which there was a strange machine. It was shaped like a triangle and glowed brightly.

— If it works out right, it means I've worked hard." Stan said to himself.

"Uncle Stan, what are you doing?" Emily asked, coming up behind him.

At her touch, the man gave a startled cry and jumped, accidentally knocking over a photo of the twins and her.

"Emily, what are you doing here?" And why are you still awake? "what is it?" he demanded.

— I woke up from a nightmare, and then I saw a light and I followed it. And also, I accidentally broke the machine, I'm sorry, please. "I'm sorry," she apologized, bowing her head.

— Since you've seen it, I suppose you should tell me now." Stan said softly, and leaned over to whisper softly in her ear.

— So that's where your brother is?" "what is it?" she asked, pointing to the portal.

"Yes, Yes, but quietly. And no way, don't say that to Dipper and Mabel, especially Dipper. You know how he likes to get into trouble. I don't want to put him in danger. You promise? Stan asked her.

"Yes, I promise." I won't even tell my sister. Emily promised, and went to bed.

The next day, agents arrived at the Cabin looking for something supernatural. While Dipper desperately tried to show the men the diary, and Mabel was preparing for the party, Emily was in her room, and standing in front of the mirror, trying to change her image.

"Emily, Breakfast is ready. Emma said, coming into her room with a tray. But as soon as she saw the scissors in her sister's hands, she dropped everything and ran to her and took the scissors away.

"Sister, what are you doing?" -  the girl asked.

— I won't let you cut your hair! Not now, not ever!  - cried the girl.

— But I wasn't going to cut them off." I just wanted to make my hair look like yours. Emily replied innocently, causing Emma to fall into a "drop."

— Thank God. I was scared. she sighed with relief and went to work.

She carefully trimmed her bangs so that they rested on her forehead and let two long strands fall over her chest. Now, Emily was an exact copy of her sister. Emma braided the girl's tails, not forgetting to leave the strands, put the Breakfast on the table and went to the Wall. At the same moment, into the room ran In and grabbed the girl by the hand, dragged her to the attic.

At this rate, the three of them were together. While Dipper paced the room, Mabel gave Emily a present.
