Following Leo asking to see me I was now sitting in his convertible listening to the soft music that was playing in the background as he drove us to God knows where.

"Why did you ask to see me?" I asked him turning to face him with my head resting on the headrest.

"I wanted to hang out with you," he replied and I laughed with an eye roll.

"We have been learning together since elementary school and you have never talked or acknowledged me in any way not that I mind or anything. Why would you want to talk to me now?"

Okay that was a lie; I did mind that Leo had never acknowledged me in any way since elementary school. The following reasons state why.

1. Leo is the captain of the football team

2. Number 1 makes him the most popular guy at school making him the most desirable guy (who doesn't want Mr Popular?)

3. Leo is very cute, okay he is hot (he even has muscles and a six pack)

4. He is tall (A tall guy is every girl's dream)

5. He is funny and charming plus very sweet (Last year he asked Gabby out to the dance in the sweetest way possible, I won't get into details but I think you get the point)

6. He drives a convertible (the way he looks good driving that car is like it was made for him. It's literally a picturesque image)

7. Leo is a great kisser (his reputation precedes him)

8. He is smart (he has a 4.0 GPA)

I think the point has been driven on why I was slightly touched by not talking to Leo. So was I happy Jaime was occupied? Yes I was ecstatic. Was I suspicious as to why Leo would choose to talk to me now? Yes I was very suspicious but I was also very happy so I didn't let my suspicion ruin things for me.

My senior year was looking up already I mean I was talking to Leo Harrington. I was in his car! Yes I was talking about connection and all earlier but this is Leo Harrington. And for Christ's sake I'm only 18, I'm not looking for anything serious.

"Why would I want to talk to you," Leo repeated my question with a small smile while he momentarily glanced at me before his eyes went back to the road. "I need your help."

I looked out and noticed we were in Leo's neighborhood. How did I know that? The posh mansions that lined the road were the answer to my question.

We arrived at a palace like structure that I guessed was Leo's home. Despite the vintage look that the mansion exuded it had a modern feel to it. A light peach colour coated the entire place and large palm trees surrounded the palace along with rose bushes. As my sneakers touched the tiled ground I let out a wistful sigh as I looked at the green plush grass that carpeted the rest of the floor that wasn't tiled.

"Your home is beautiful," I told him and he shrugged before motioning for me to follow him into the house.

There was a butler waiting at the door and Leo nodded at him as we walked inside. A luxurious looking chandelier hung on the ceiling of the room we first entered giving the room a glow. The room had marble floors and walls that were painted a light shade of peach. There was a door to the left, another to the right, a long passage and a staircase.

"I appreciate you bailing me out and all but I just wanted to go home," I explained as I followed him up the stairs. "I didn't even need a ride, I could have walked home."

I did not find it necessary to mention that walking home would mean I would get home at midnight.

"I need your help," Leo told me again and I nodded absentmindedly while mentally gushing at the house.
