but it perfectly fits
I tried so, so hard
to brush you off as the new guy
as the next person
we would bring into our little group of friends
...but you're not though
because you're so much more
there's meaning behind your words
a lot that people don't understand
and I want to be honest and say
that I want to get to know you
...I just need to know if that's what you want too
you've stared
and you've smiled
as if I should know something
but my insecurities always get the better of me
