The Alomst Date

Penny's POV
Ted asked me on a date! I was running around room smiling and blushing happily. I called Carla and told her she of course was happy for me. I was getting ready for my date I did my hair and make up but when I went to change I noticed something. There was red everywhere on my clothes. It was blood I started my period the night of my date great! I started crying why today! I called Ted and told him I had to cancel. Ted asked me why and I said something had come up out of nowhere it wasn't a total lie. Then I was available next week. Ted agreed to meet me next week. After Ted hung up I called Cindy and asked her to help me. After 10 minutes Cindy got there. Cindy gave me pads to use since I was out because I didn't expect this to happen. Then she helped me clean my clothes. Cindy has stayed with me all night to make sure there wasn't another accident. I was sad all night I had waited years for this night and my period ruined it.
"I wish I would have just ignored my period and went anyways" I say to Cindy. "WHAT are you crazy if you did that there would be many more problems!" Cindy shouted out me. "I know but I would have been so happy." I say sadly. "Look Pennles I know you really like Ted but this is more important as girls we have to deal with this stuff okay?" Cindy responses. "Okay I get it." I say a bit happier. "Now to plan for that Saturday!" Cindy says as she happily pulls out a fashion magazine. "Okay what are you waiting for show me!" I say giggling. That night honestly went great.
