tony stark : the man with the broken heart and soul . ever since he was young , he dealt with the verbal , physical and emotional abuse from his father . the fact that he was being bullied at home from his very first role model ached his broken heart . his mother tried to be on both sides , but it wasn't good enough . not at all . she had to be on his side . he was the one who was hurting . the future iron man felt like he had every right to be mad at the world . tony was sick and tired of being compared to some dead man . or at least that's what he thought until about 30 or so years they found out that steve rogers was alive and well , thanks to ice .

still , he didn't want to be compared to anyone .

tony only knew captain america from his father's perspective . it was the reason why he hated him so much growing up , but getting to know him from his own point of view , he realized that steve wasn't as bad as he thought . sure , he was annoying a good amount of times but that didn't stop his fluttering heart . he wanted him , but the male would never show it . instead , he'll hide out his pain and trauma with sarcasm , wit and his secret love of songs that weren't rock. specially ac/dc . on the outside with everyone else , tony was this happy guy who loved himself and his work , but on the inside , he was a man needy of love . needing someone to cuddle with while listening to spanish music out loud . of course tony stark knew how to speak spanish so it was obvious ( at least to him , maybe ) that he would listen to a few songs in spanish .
