Bad Dream

Chapter 6: That's right ,my type.

My shoulder throbs as I shout at my attacker, "What are you doing? Who are you?". A mischievous smile crosses the mans face as he lets go of me and offers his hand .

"Hi ,I'm Basilius , a friend of Ambrose ,Cain and Salem . I wanted to introduce myself to the girl they have all been talking so vividly about".

I shake his hand, "You could have introduced yourself in a nicer way than throwing me into a brick wall , that really hurt my shoulder".

Basilius looks me up and down , "Sorry Sahara".

I scowl at him as he smiles at me. I don't trust him.

"So Sahara ,how old are you? None of the boys seem to know". I blink as I realize that I had never told any of them my age. "I'm 22".

Basilius gives me a flirty look , "Aww you are a baby still".

I hit him, "I'll have you know I am a fully grown woman".

Basilius laughs ," I can see that , I should let you go ,don't want mummy worrying too much".

He winks at me and casually walks away . A look of shock crosses my face . Basilius seems odd ,very charming , almost too charming. What a group of guys. . I walk to the bathroom and look in the mirror , "Holy Shit!". My hair is everywhere from the wind, my nose is running and my face is pale , the only colour is my red cheeks from the cold air . I must say I look terrible . I go even redder thinking about how he must have seen me . I cover my face when I realize just how I have looked in front of all of these guys.

I brush my hair and plait it ,slipping off my compression tights and t-shirt and swapping it for a pair of comfy oversized flannelette pajamas.

I turn the TV onto the 6:30 news the male reporters grim expression filling the screen ,

" Two more bodies have been found beside the freeway early this morning , identification of these bodies have yet to be confirmed , however an arrest has been made in relation to the murder of Clare Collins and potentially Tanya Holmes. Detective Constable Eric Smith has made a statement on this matter" .

The news reporter crosses to Detective Smith , "The police force have reason to believe that these recent gang and citizen murders , the murder of Clare Collins ,and Tanya Holmes and robbery at the National Golden Bank are the work of a criminal gang we have named the 'Fatal' gang . Early this morning after the discovery of the most recent bodies ,police acted on evidence found at the crime scene and we now have a suspect in custody awaiting our sole witness identification ". I turn down the TV as the phone rings .
