Chenle is 12 and Jisung is 11.
Now, Chenle and Jisung loved baking Gingerbread cookies with each other, but this year was different. Chenle went to China a few weeks before the Winter Holidays, so Jisung didn't have anyone to talk at school other than Jaemin, Jeno, Renjun, and Haechan.
Jisung went to the store and bought some pre-made gingerbread dough and some frosting.
Jisung walked home, carrying a few bags of gingerbread dough, frosting, and a gingerbread house decorating thing. Jisung sighed and realized that he is going to be alone this year.
Jisung's parents were almost never home, so it was kinda understandable and kinda sad.
He immediately started gingerbread cookies when he got home. He kneaded the dough, cutting it into pieces. He put them in the tray, then the oven. He took out the frosting, and he went to sit on the couch, watching some Christmas movies.
He heard the doorbell and walked up to answer it.
"Jisungie!" Chenle said the moment Jisung opened the door.
Jisung froze, he was in shock. He didn't expect Chenle to come over. Wait, but why isn't he in China?
"Jisungie...? Are.. you not happy to see me?" Chenle asked, tilting his head.
"Huh? No, I'm just very surprised, I thought you would be in China," Jisung said.
"I was! I just took a private jet here," Chenle said smiling, as the snow fell onto the ground.
"Oh, well, come in, I'm making gingerbread cookies," Jisung said, letting the boy come in.
Chenle put his things in Jisung's room, and skipped into the living room, they both waited for the cookies to finish baking. Once they were done, Jisung and Chenle happily decorated the cookies right away.
They spent all night decorating everything, especially the gingerbread house, decorating it with candies.
"Hey Jisungie, I'm going to stay over again, do you have any pajamas?" Chenle asked.
"Yeah, just go through my closet," Jisung said, cleaning some of the stuff up.
"Okie," Chenle said, skipping into Jisung's bedroom.
Jisung put on a Christmas movie, and Chenle came hopping out in Jisung's clothing, carrying blankets into the living room. Jisung got snacks and drinks, snuggling in with Chenle's warm body.
