*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-*

Keonhee let out a muffled groan as his right hand roamed around his nightstand in a search to turn off the irritating noise emitting from his alarm clock. Today is a weekday, which means that he and his brother have to head out early in order to get to their classes on time, as usual.

He forces himself to sit up from his bed, only to be blinded by the morning sun's rays beaming through his bedroom window. Turning his head away from the bright light, Keonhee stood up to make his bed before walking down the hallway towards his brother's room. He had presumed that their parents had already left for their jobs as the remainder of the household was in complete silence, the living room and kitchen still dim as the sun has yet to brighten up the dark space.

As Keonhee made his way closer to his brother's bedroom, he could begin to hear the faint sound of snoring coming from inside his room. He let out a frustrated sigh before twisting the doorknob and walking straight towards the sleeping boy.

"Hyung, wake up already! Aish..." he grumbled, trying to shake Seoho awake while he continued to nag him. Seoho sleepily responded to his brother's whining by turning his body away from Keonhee, curling into a ball and throwing a pillow over his head in an attempt to shut away the noise.

Keonhee let out another sigh. He hates having to manually wake him up each morning. It isn't his fault that Seoho always sleeps through his alarm, nor was he to blame for his frequent partying on days he should have been using to study. Nonetheless, Keonhee cared deeply about his older brother, sometimes to the point where he would become anxious whenever he doesn't return home until as late as midnight.

"Just remember that I'm the one with the driver's license..." Keonhee huffed, before turning to leave for the bathroom.

Seoho practically flew out of his bed upon hearing his little bro's words. "Yah! Quit using that against me!" he whined, as Seoho began to rummage through his closet for his school uniform.

Keonhee clicked his tongue in response, "You would never get out of bed if I don't."

Seoho continued to pout, feeling powerless for not being able to obtain a driver's license before his brother could. After the boys were dressed up in their uniforms and ready to leave the house, the two walked down the staircase to the first floor. There, a note on the kitchen counter from their parents was waiting for them.

'Working late again. There's 30,000 on the table if you boys want to order takeout food. Also, please take the leftovers for your guy's lunch today. We'll see you two soon. Love you both!!'
-Mom and Dad

Both boys acknowledged the note before splitting the refrigerated food and packing it into their own separate lunch boxes. It wasn't the first time their parents had to work overtime. They hid the money in the pantry before heading out the front door.

A chilling gust of wind brushed passed the two boys as soon as they stepped out of the door, making Keonhee shiver at the sudden coolness making contact with his skin. Seoho didn't seem to mind however, as he began to text away with his friends on his cellphone. They walked over and hopped into their mother's shared car and drove away towards the school, thus the beginning of another long day of classes and yelling teachers.
