Chapter I [Ryūko-chan & Iruma-kun From Demon School]

  During a storm on the oceans around Japan, a tuna fishing boat was fighting the waves and the winds of the weather. Inside the boat were three people making sure that the cages of tuna were in shape and the fish don't fall off. "Iruma, Ryūko! I'm leaving this to you two!" Said a worker to a boy and girl people with blue hair, "Don't let it fall apart!". "Yes sir!" Replied the two. "If this falls apart, I'm docking half of your pay." Stated the other worker before leaving off.

  Suzuki Iruma and Ryūko, 14 years old, are both forced to work on a tuna fishing boat. To put it simply, their parents are a bunch of scumbugs who refuse to work, so they have to work instead. Iruma pushes one of the large tuna fishes back in its cage panting. "We won't be able to get by with only half of our pay." Said Iruma. Ryūko, the one with a case of complete heterochromia, has her blue left eye shut as she pushes two fishes back before closing the cage. She brings back her third and fourth finger to produce a strand of silk sealing the cages above her before saying: "Watashitachi no kyūryō wa sore hodo waruku arimasenga, soreha jōdan no yō ni kanjimasu! Watashitachi no ryōshin ga kono yō ni watashitachi o okizari ni suru nante shinjirarenai!"

[Japanese Romaji:

"Our pay isn't too bad, but it feels like a f****** joke! I can't believe our parents would just leave us out like this!"]

  Iruma looks at his sister's anger and hatred of their parents in her blue and red eyes, he knows how much she feels about being forced to work. Before he knew it, a fish fell out of its cage, then came more fish raining down on them from the cages. Ryūko jumps and throws some of the falling fish back behinds their steel bars while sealing them with her silk. Now how is this possible? Well 4 minutes before Iruma was born, she came out of her mother's womb in a soft silk cocoon. No research has been done about this as it may be to harsh to do since Ryūko was just born. Doctors say it might be some kind of abnormal genetic and few others say its a demon-like gentetic.

  A bigger tuna was falling towards Iruma face first and Ryūko swiftly moved in front of him to take the hurting for her brother. Somehow, everything pauses before them. It was strange, then the Suzuki twins found themselves tied up in front of a tall man with horns on the side of his head. With a small hand movement two sheets of paper stuck to their bindings with the word "sold". "Sold? Wh-Wh What... What is going on?" Stammered Iruma. "I won't give a damn doubt that we're sold off by a certain couple." Thought Ryūko.

  The twins along with the stranger faded away to a world, one that has never been seen by anyone's eyes. "W-Where are we? Who are you?" Asked Iruma timidly.

  The abducter was replying with an unknown language which both of the bluenettes don't understand until a snap of his fingers came out. "I made it so you can understand the demon language." Said the stranger, "Suzuki Ryūko and Iruma, this is the Netherworld." "Wait a minute, Iruma. I read about this realm." Said Ryūko, "The Netherworld is known to be the realm of demons." "Correct, young lady." Commented the person, who Ryūko thinks is a demon. "Demo- We can understand you." Pointed out Iruma. "Yes, I did put a spell on you both." Said the winged stranger.

"A-A spell?"

"Well, of course I can use spells. I'm a demon."

  "And crap yes, I figured you were a demon." Said Ryūko monotoneously. "A demon?!" Questioned Iruma in a panicked tone. "Indeed, a demon. My name is Sullivan." Introduced the demon, "Ryūko, Iruma, your parents sold your souls to me." Sullivan laughs to himself which frightens Iruma. "Our parents sold our souls to a demon? They would never-" "He's right you know. Our parents would really forsake us." Pointed the odd-eyed female. Iruma is then left with a sullen expression on his face whereas Ryūko stays emotionless. "Yeah, Onē-chan's right." Thought Iruma, "They totally would." The three were approaching an imposing castle nearby, which Sullivan informs them that's his mansion. Iruma now scared of the next thing, starts to panic asking: "Wh-What are you going to do with us!?" Ryūko tries to calm down her screaming brother though she would be lying if she said that she wasn't scared even one chill. The twins thought that something bad was before them, but it turns out, nothing bad.
