chapter three: new friends

as our heroes walked past a small cottage they noticed a two small shadows peaking out from a birch wood tree."Adam, do yo see those two figures watching us?" "yes." Adam said as he pulled his sword from his belt."come out! now!" Adam yelled firmly . two people emerged from behind the tree there was a girl with a black leather tunic and a rabbit on her head and  boy wearing a gold helmit and a bird following him. "hi,I'm rose and this is my brother david." the girl calmly said not frightening her brother's bird ."we're lost . Are you going to the mineshaft that was over run by creepers?" david asked . "ya, do you what to come with us?" Adem said happily. "sure, we lived in the jungle village before the loggers came to build more houses" "so, we left . I'm going to get a job at the mineshaft." David said . "why are your eyes purple?" rose said as she inspected Lisa's eyes "i ate a golden carrot and now I've got the abilitie to see in dark places." "woah! thats so cool ! I'm training to be a alchimist ,and even i have never heard of that!" David said as they walked down to a small hut on the bank of a swamp. "so, what are you going to do,rose?" Adem asked "I'm going to walk dogs , raise rabbits ,and feed cats. "you guys ,keep talking and I'll go ask for directions too a town with an inn." Adem said to the chatty group. "hello, do you know if there is a town near?" Adem asked a man tending to his almost withered crops ."yes,but, it will cost you!" the man said "okey, how much gold?" "not,gold. fish! give me 10 fish and i will tell you were to go." "what? fish? why?" Adem asked "I can not keep up with my family of 10 . So I want one fish for each family member.okey?" "yes,sir." Adem said as he walked back to the group which was still talking ."there's good news and bad news.which would you like to hear?" Adem asked "can we hear the good news first." rose answered "okey,he will tell us,but he wants ten fish in return." "so lets go catch some fish!" David said excitedly

after two hours of fishing they finally got the ten they needed. "thank you the town of goblit is down that road and to the left." the man said "thanks!"  after getting to the town the realized the guards were all watching them waiting "we have to find an inn to stay at."David said as he walked over to a tall tree in the centre of the town "hey ,there's a inn " Lisa said as she pointed at a sigh that read "the horse inn" "hey, I heard that inn has pets for sale! maybe Lisa can get one !" rose said feeding her rabbit a carrot . "we should ask for a room on the top I love a good views!" David said as they walked into the inn . "hello ,can we get a room ,please?" Adem asked the lady at the desk "sure that will be ten gold." "and how much for a horse?" "twelve gold. that will be twenty-two gold."  "okey, I'll see you out back." the clerk said as she walked to the back door.

a few minutes later the team walked out to a small stable out in the back . "here are the horses we have." the girl pointed to three horses. a black, a white ,and a one that looked like it was poisoned. "I like this one."  Lisa said as she ran to hug the white horse.  "but, whats wrong with this one." she asked as she looked at the almost dead horse. "another one of Dr.gobber's exparitments." the clerk said as she crossed he arms ."in fact, I have this he whated me to give it to your horse but i thought i would wait." what does it do ?" Adem asked "it will turn your horse in to something. I don't know? Maybe a unicorn." she said as she gave the horse the drink . suddenly the horse grew a horn ! " what is that thing?" david asked stunned with fear. "its not a thing, its a unicorn." the clerk said as she stroked the horse. "well, don't just stand there ,take him."  the clerk said giving the unicorn to lucy and after a good night sleep our heros walked off into to forest .
