When I woke up he was there not the ‘aww cute he is asleep’ it was more of the ‘oh shit he is awake and has probably been watching me sleep the whole time!!’

 I quickly close my eyes and hope he didn’t see that I had woken up, but of course with my terrible luck that didn’t happen and he said “I saw you my butterfly, why may I ask you are you pretending to be asleep?”

 I then got the best idea ever I snuggled into him and say “I am sorry if that made you upset I was just startled by the brightness of the light coming through the window.”

 He then held me even closer and said “sorry but I know already why you closed your eyes but I wanted to see if you would tell the truth”

He said in a very sad tone.

 It broke my heart so I say “I am so sorry it’s just um….um*sniffle* I am *sniffle*sorry-“

 He then sits up and starts to say “no no no no that’s um how do I say this um”

 I then start to giggle at his loss of words and he smiles which is heavenly and then someone just had to ruin it by saying “CLAUDE!”

  Claude then mumbles something under his breath and says “I’ll be right back my butterfly”

 And gently kisses my forehead and leaves the room grumbling something about a rat?

 I didn’t know what he was talking about.
