School dragged like usual. The only thing that I was looking forward to was cancelled which was a double wreck. Today our football team had to play against Roselyn High school football team. Unfortunately, the school pulled out at the last minute claiming they hadn't practised enough. I was really looking forward to do cheerleading today. I am currently the captain which is also the position The devil claims I took from her. Whatever I actually don't care. I didn't choose to be captain, I was chosen.

Currently We were in the Cafeteria eating and chatting like usual gaining unnecessary attention. I felt really uncomfortable and the salad tasted like white papers. I was literally squashed at the corner since we had the football team eating with us today.

Britanny was busy bragging about her non-existent Ferrari and her latest Iphone11 pro. I rolled my eyes at her then she stuck her tongue out for me. Childish, immature bossy devil.

"How childish of you Britanny." I said her name sweetly and slowly. Everyone chuckled.

"Says the one squashed in the corner!" She fake smiled in satisfaction. Oh! No it's on.

"That's the best you've got?you gotta be kidding me fake blondie." There were whooo's and Ahhhh's from the table. That's when I realised everyone in the cafeteria was quiet looking at Britanny and I.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" I pressed wanting to see her snap. The day had been so boring yet I yearned action and drama.

She frowned her face becoming red. I sure made her angry alright.

"You know what you ungrateful brat, I took you in my group when you had no friend's and this is how you repay me? Embarrassing me in front of everyone, for what Catherine? For fame?" Tears were streaming down her face and that's when I realised how much I messed up. She was right I used to be a loner and she made me famous.

My so called friend's comforted her. I felt a little bit guilty, this was the first time Brittany broke down in front of the whole school. She was really hurt and agry she never called me by my full name. I stood up trying to cormfort her but she pushed me away.

"Go Catherine!" She yelled facing the opposite direction.

"Yes Catherine! Go away You've already done enough." I couldn't believe my ears even Chrisa chose her over me.

"But I...

This time it was Gabe who spoke

"Just go! We don't want you here!" No surprise he spoke, this guy hated me.

"Lets go Catherine we are creating a scene." Simmon took my hand and walked me out of the cafeteria. I glanced back at my so called friends. They were looking at me with disbelief and dissapointment. Were they exaggerating or did I really hurt Brittany the devil?

"Why is Britanny acting like that?" I asked Simmon once we were out of the cafeteria.

"What you said really hurt her ego Catherine, I though you weren't an attention seeker. Clearly you embarrassed her just to gain attention and respect." Simmon frowned at me a look of dissapointment on his face.

"I was acting like a great friend wasn't I?" I spoke with sacarsm trying to lighten up the mood. But one look from Simmon made me swallow my pride.

I sighed "You are right, I was acting mean and so unlike me."

"So like you but never to your friends." Simmon corrected smicking.

"Jeez thanks for reminding me how mean I am." I nudged his shoulder playfully suddently feeling better.

"So are going to apologize?" He asked now serious.

"Of course!" That's what Britanny devil wanted after all, she cried just to hide the fact that I kept her shut. I gave her the best comeback so to spare herself from the embarrassment, she cried like a baby. And now I had to apologize to that sick psycho. Hell no, I'm not a coward.

"Lets go, you might as well do it in front of everyone to clear the air." I couldn't believe it, even Simmon was turning his back against me. What a friend.

We walked in the cafeteria which was still quiet like before except for Britanny's loud sobs, she really cried like a goat chocking on a chip (Jeez not goats again😂🤣)

I stood in front of Britanny and folded my arms.

"tsk tsk Please stop pretending because it pisses me." I let my anger take the best of me. Everyone gasped.

"Catherine stop you were...

Simmon was interrupted by The devil's slap. She really slapped me. It wasn't bad but clearly no match to my hard slaps. They could mess up her pretty baby face in an instant.

Everyone yelled fight. Simmon tried separating us but Gabe stopped him. He was clearly enjoying it. A friend he is. I slapped Britanny Devil on her right cheek making her turn from the impact. When she was about to turn I attacked the other cheek, then another then another until they managed to separate us. She looked so red, Crying and breathing with rage still holding her throbbing cheek oh I meant cheeks😏. I smicked at that.

"What's going on here?" The principal's voice made me freeze. Clearly not what I wanted to hear.

We were took to the principal's office. Forced to sit close together and forced to intertwine our fingers on our way here. It felt like hell, The devil's hand was so cold like her personality.

"I see you two girls always hated each other though pretended to be friends...it that true?" The principal asked not bothering to look away from his laptop. He wasn't that old though he was stricked. He looked to be around his late 20s or 30 to be exact if I'm not mistaken. If you took a closer look you would see how much stress and work was wearing him up. Being a teacher and principal at the same time was a huge responsibility yet he made it look easy.

"You could put it in that....

He interrupted the devil, I smicked.

"A simple yes would do." He said sternly still not taking his eyes from his laptop.

How could he concentrate on two thing's at the same time? I still don't know some people are just talented.

"You are both fighting to be Queen B's of the school, porpularity that is?"

"Its not like that its...

Again he interrupted, I groaned looking at Britanny devil who was now smicking.

"A simple yes would do, girl."

I rolled my eyes at that. This dude needs to chill.

"I heard that! Now answer or I will shove you inside the toilet."

Britanny devil giggled. I also chuckled. This teacher was definitely cool and dope. I wish he could teach us.

"That's what I wanted to see, the bond you are still friends though you let popularity get in between your friendship. Now you will both sleep in my office tonight solving a puzzle, I'm sure once you finish it you will be good friends again."

It sonded clever but not when you will be spending time with the she devil in one room. She would kill me and eat my organs. Like I said, this girl is nuts.

"But sir we...

The principal teacher held out his hand shuting Britanny up then he left and locked the door.

I was too surprised to even realise it was really happening. Reality crashed after he left. We looked at each other both horrified. A night with my worst enemy with no food nor lights. He planned this all along he took out the light bulb.

"What are we going to do now." Britanny cried putting her head in her hands.

Great just what I needed. A cry baby by my side....
