"Language Jay." My teacher hissed at his student.
"Sorry master Wu." Jay apologised as I picked the piece of paper off the puffy delicate snow. I stared at it like I was going to faint, but I didn't...

"What is it kai?" Lloyd looked worried as ever I just shook my head clearing my horrible thoughts of the picture. I showed it to the blonde. His pupils turned to the size of a pea. He screamed quickly backing away from his image constantly shaking his head. His uncle came to him.
"Lloyd what is it?" The old man question to his dark eyed nephew as he shook in complete fright of what I showed him. He didn't get an answer so got up a went to me.

"Let me see the photo." He demanded and I shook my head. He grunted. Then asked me again.
"Kai I need to see the photo." He conducted to me, but I didn't listen. I just turned to him.
"You... you don't want to see it." I stuttered a little tiers in my eyes. My father came up to me and so did my mother. My mother looked sorry but not my father. He looked disappointed.
"Kai, give us the photo and everything will be ok..." he spoke calmly not trying to scare me but I couldn't show them the photo especially my parents or my sister. I shook my head.
"Kai I don't want to shout at you at this time of the year now pass the photo..." his voice started to get sharp. My mother tried to calm him down.

"Honey, clam down their might be a reason." My father didn't listen. He had never done this to me in my life but he did for the first.
"KAI SMITH GIVE ME THE PHOTO NOW!!" He screamed creating a flock of bird flap from the cracked branches of trees. The others gasped. Even my mother. She must be speechless to see her loving husband yell at his son for one small reason. I past him the photo to then turn and run back to the monastery. I saw lloyd scream my name.

As Kai left I turn to the old fire master.
"So... what is on the photo?" Jay question in a strange way. I could agree that this was strange as Kai and his father had never been like this. Ray looked over me. A tier crawl down his cheek. Passing the horrible photo to his wife. She gasped.
"What on earth is this!" She yelped passing the photo to her old friend wu. His eyes went open after seeing it. He past it to me.
"You should keep it, and don't let Nya or the others know..." his whispers were as quiet as a mouse but Nya came over. She was really confused and looked concerned of what was going on.

"What is on the photo?" She asked walking up to me. I slipped the picture into my pocket and bit my lip.
"Nothing.." I spoke taking a step back. She roles her eyes and walked away.
"We should get back to the monastery before it gets to dark." Zane suggested pointing up to the dull, uncoloured sky. We all agreed and stomped through the snow.

I stomped through the snow getting closer to the monastery. I hadn't realised how far we actually went. Passing the sharp naked trees I found myself to a bridge. I remember passing it when we were having the walk. This bridge didn't look sturdy though. I placed my frozen snow covered foot onto one of the planks. Nothing happened. I was going to be fine. What I didn't realise though that was my feet were that cold I didn't actually place my foot anywhere near a plank. My foot was to cold to feel anything so what I felt was ice.

I heard voices from behind. They sounded like my teammates and the others. With panicked I ran down the bridge to then hear a loud crack of a sound. I heard a sweet voice that sounded like lloyd.
"Kai! The bridge is braking your gonna fall!" He yelled as everyone pears from the forest. I didn't want to listen. My father shook the s*** out me from yelling at me. I was never shouted at like that before.

CRACK!!!

I screamed falling down to unknown water. I couldn't swim at all so I knew I was going to die. Without knowing, my hand grabbed onto planks of the bridge. I gasped with a smile. I look up to expect to see lloyd. But I didn't.
"Hey son you ok?" My father asked with guilty in his eyes. I just ignored him and climbed up. He soon disappeared and my mother came to see me.
"Kai! Oh lord you ok!" She cried hugging my frozen body as she cried. I just hugged back in silence.
I didn't have the confidence to speak.

We were in the living room having hot chocolates. I was sat with Kai making him as warm as I could. He hadn't spoken a word ever since he was shouted at by his dad. He was wrapped up in his favourite red fluffy blanket on a single sofa we both liked to stay warm together on. It was strange to see his parents look at us. I had only known them for 2 months now. Sometimes they were like strangers to me. The amount of questions that were asked today including that argument. Was all from the photo I still had in my pocket. And that picture was of Kai...

CLIFF HANGER!!

Hey guys, do you like this story so far. I'm still of sick and won't be going to school till next week. I'm actually kind of bored at home as I have to to chores at home. I know I'm adding some bad words and if you want me to stop that just tell me. Anyway I'll talk to you guys in the next chapter.
