The maze runner (fanfic)

~ chapter 5 ~

*Tori's POV*

"Thomas.." I gasp, then open my eyes. He sits up, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Tori?" he asks.

"Umm no ,actually I think I'm Minho." I laugh, my head throbbing with every laugh.

I sit up and notice he's not even smiling.

"Thomas, why were you crying?" I ask.

"Did you hear all that?" he asks, wiping his cheeks.

I blush, "Uh, yea. But I promise it wasn't your fault. Honestly,I tripped."

He looks down,"Did you hear anything else? "

"Yes I did, I was really touched by what you said. But I don't believe you." I meet his gaze.

"why?"

I sigh, "I can't remember anything about my past life Thomas, but I'm certain that boys didn't like me. Why now?"

"How do you know?" he asks, " You don't know what you look like?"

"Why don't you tell me?" I ask.

He almost smiles, "Well, your eyes are this piercing blue, so intense you can't look away. And your hair.." he reaches out and plays with my hair, "Its down to your waist and a beautiful brown that's so dark its almost black, and the cutest smattering of freckles on your face. Your medium height, to my shoulder. And the perfect weight. And I don't remember my past live, but I'm certain you are the most beautiful person I've ever seen."

Now I'm crying as well. But, I'm also smiling like an idiot.

"Thomas.." I whisper, looking at his eyes.

"Please. Be with me?" He says, he finally stopped crying.

"I'd normally wait till I know a bit more about the person, but I guess we can't remember anything anyway...... so I think my answer is obvious." I say

"your saying no?" A tear down runs down his cheek.

"Thomas, I'm saying yes, a million yeses."

Then it happens, he kisses me.

I can taste the salt from his tears. And I almost whimper when he pulls away.

He stands, "You look tired, go to sleep, See you later."

He opens the door, and Newt and Minho both fall in.

"I ,I uhh.." Minho stutters.

"yea, we ummm." Newt stammers.

They make a run for it and Thomas sprints after them. I smile and fall in to a happy sleep.
