Chapter 5 The mall

     Today I was going to get new clothes for my date with you. As we headed to the mall Chris, Jackson, D, and I were singing on the tops of our lungs singing some old pop song.
We finally got to the mall and D was in love. Forever 23 was having a sale. I had to bring D back to the real world. Even if it was having a sale we couldn't afford any of it.
I told everyone why we were here and why I was so happy today. "D was like omg Riley I can't believe your going on a date with Hayes Grier!" Jackson and Chris were standing there like you better not break my heart.
I told D that she was my number 1 hope and that she had to help me me pick out something to wear. "Where should we go first?" The boys asked. How about that great country store I said. "No! D said." Were going to clothes, clothes, clothes. "Wait isn't like for like super girly girls?" Chris asked. "Shhhh Riley doesn't know that!"
Once we arrived at the shop we went straight to the little girls section because I was to small for the juniors. We saw some skirts, shirts, dresses, and all the clothes you could imagine. D thought it would be best if I wore a black skirt and a pink crop top, but I wasn't sure. The little girls clothes were a little to pink and purple for me so we went over to the small juniors section. We found Jean shorts, printed leggings, skirts, sparkley t-shirts, and all things fashion. The boys picked out some clothes that they would like to see a girl wear and let me tell you there was no way I was getting into those tiny tight clothes. D told the boys to be reasonable and pick out some things that were longer and less tight. I found a shirt that I liked and some pants. I told D and the boys I was going to try on some clothes I found. After I put on the sparkley yellow shirt with a winking smiley face and some Jean shorts. I looked at myself in the mirror and something didn't look right. All of a sudden a big pile of clothes came down on me. D said to try on everything and show her.

After fifty million different clothes I finally found something we liked.

- A blue tank top
- A flowery see through cover up
- A black skirt with ruffles
- And some new sliver sparkley vans.
I was ready and looked good. We went to go check out and guess who was walking into the store with his little sister? "Omg D hide me I don't want him to see me buying clothes for our date. He'll know I'm trying is what I said." D told me it was going to be ok. Just don't look at him.
I couldn't resist I saw you at school today and you looked so good in that muscle shirt with blue shorts. I could tell you were nervous to be seen in this store. I saw you walk over to the toy section and fiddle around with some toys but then you saw a book and picked it up. I couldn't tell what you were reading but it almost looked like a riddle book. I saw you walk over skylynn with that book still in your hand and telling her we need to go now because we had to get back home so I can go over to Riley's. Skylynn started screaming and whining and that s when we walked out.
D said we need to get you some perfume and new makeup then we can go.
We went over to Girls Supply and asked the lady if we could have a makeup run to find out what color and what would look best on me. The lady pulled out some foundation, powder, blush, eyeliner, lipgloss/lipstick, and eyeshadow. She first put on all eye makeup we decided that the orangish nude color would be best eye for eye shadow and no eyeliner. Next she put on foundation and we thought the medium dark would be the best because I was more tan. Then she put on a light pink blush on one side and a darker pink on the other. We decided the darker pink looked better. Lastly we pick out a lipgloss/lipstick the red and pink lipstick was a little over powering so we went with a clear shinny coat of lipgloss. We bought all of the makeup we chose and then went over to the smells section and picked out some perfume called ¡hola Maui! We also got the body wash with it.
We needed to go home soon but I still wanted to look good for tonight. We decided to go to George Walk. We had to go almost across the mall but luckily that's the side we parked on.
Once we arrived to George Walk D was drawn to the long cardigans. She picked out one for me to wear. It was long, gray, and had light gray buttons. We also bought some printed leggings, a light pink shirt, and more Jean shorts. Before we checked out I saw these American flag Jean shorts and I feel in love. I remembering seeing a t-shirt with an American eagle colored in with the American flag. I had to pick those clothes up fast. We checked out and left to go home. We dropped off Jackson and Chris at their houses and D came over for a little bit to get me dresses for tonight. I wore
- My new gray cardigan
- A mint scarf
- A white tank top underneath
- And black leggings
I was ready to "STUDY" with you.
