Amaryllis and I finished eating our food and I grabbed our trash to throw it away. We finished watching our movie and she checked the time. It was about 7:30 and she said.....

I paused for a bit before rolling my eyes and saying.....
A- Amaryllis, leave me alone AM- If you can't sister swear then you know you a whole ass lie A- (rolls eyes and crosses arms) Whatever AM- Mhm cause you know I'm right but alright I'll leave you alone for now. Anyways, it's about time for us to start getting ready. The party starts at 8 and you and I both know we ain't gon pull up till damn near 10:00 A- (laughs) You right AM- Exactly so let's go ahead. She jogged up the stairs and I followed behind her, laughing and shaking my head. We got upstairs and went our separate ways to get ready for tonight.
I wrapped my towel around my body as I got out the shower and dried myself off. I lotioned my skin and put my deodorant on before putting on my bra and panties. I got dressed and did my hair, putting kinky curls in my hair and pinning it into an afro. I did my makeup and nails before putting on my jewelry and accessories.

I kept it pretty simple, making sure to put my grill back in for a little flair and grabbed my purse, placing my phone, earbuds, keys, and wallet inside of it. I looked over myself in my mirror before checking the time and seeing it was after 9:00. I made sure I wasn't forgetting anything and turned off the light in my room, making my way out my room with my purse on my shoulders. I walked down the stairs and saw that Amaryllis wasn't down there which meant she was still upstairs getting ready. I shook my head at her and took a seat on the couch, pulling my phone out and scrolling through various social media as I waited for her.
