The Isolated Wolf

Chapter 3

My father had told me stories of Jacob Seed I never thought it to be true until I saw a Judge for the first time I couldn't believe that a man would harm creatures like me. I was so scared of him I didn't ever want to become a Judge especially since I was stronger and larger than other wolves which would make me more of a target.

The hunter that got away returned to the Veterans Center "Sir I'm so glad I was able to survive." The hunter said afraid "Where have you been and where are the rest are your men." Jacob asked impatiently "We were attacked by a wolf." The hunter said still frightened "Really a wolf killed your men." Jacob asked angrily "It wasn't a normal wolf it was the size of half a car and its fur was pure black and they eyes were purple it's a female and she is owned by that scientists who lives doesn't live far from the ranger station." The hunter said worried of what Jacob would think. "He owns a wolf and it's trained." "Yes sir it's trained and it killed my men." "Tomorrow we go find this man and his the wolf and make it one of our own.""Yes Sir."
One Evening later*
"Ayla!! Wake up." Her father shouted Ayla jumping out of bed frightened looking like a mess."What's wrong Dad?" she asked confused " They are coming back I looked at my cameras and they are close by with 2 very large cages." Ayla frightened knowing she is scared of Jacob Seed " I need you to leave! Transform into your Wolf form and run don't come back for me!" " But I don't want to leave you." Ayla said saddened. " But I don't want them to get you and turn you into one of those Judges." "Ok dad I will leave." She hugged her father crying in his arms "Go it will be ok you have to leave now !" He opened the Bunker door swiftly the morning light shined against them. Ayla started transforming behind a tree it took her at least a minute to transform once she finished she walked over to her father." Go Ayla be safe and remember don't trust anyone." He said as he caressed her black fur. Ayla looked at him and started running when she reached the other side of the road. She looked back to see her father crying and waving to her. Ayla could hear the trucks coming closer and ran off, "At least she will be safe." He said smiling watching her run.
