Chapter 5

Claire's Pov

Nandito na kami ni Stell sa Gazeebo. Andito na rin sila lolo at sila mommy and daddy, may mga new faces na parang ngayon ko lang nakita.

May kausap si Stell, parang magkakilala talaga sila.

Stell: "Ay anyways, this is Claire, Claire this is Sejun. My friend."

Me: "Hi Sejun. How are you?"

Sejun: "Hi, ayos lang. Nice to meet you."

Me: "Nice to meet you too. Uhm.. Mamaya nalang ulit ah punta lang ako kila mommy."

Stell: "Yeah, sure."

Tumabi na ako kay mommy and daddy sa table and then lolo stands up.

Lolo: "Okay, thank you for coming here today. This meeting is for the Ajero's and Nase's Family this not just a meeting this is a bond of two family it's because of the successful business we have since 1900's. Nase and Ajero are partners since 1900's. Hope for more years to go! Cheers to this business and to this family!"

He raised the wine glass to cheers.

We are raising our wine glass.

Nase & Ajero fam: "For the business and family!"

And then we eat. Everyone are talking to each other, ako nalang walang kausap kasi nga hindi ko kaya makipag socialize even though na family ko, nahihiya pa rin ako.

So tumayo ako at umupo sa may garden.

Lolo: "Claire? Bat andito ka?"

Me: "Lo? Ah wala lang po."

Lolo: "Ah, anyways I believe nakilala mo na to si Sejun diba?"

Me: "ah? Yes po?"

Lolo: "Ah okay, that's good. Oh Sejun dito ka na muna samahan mo si Claire."

Sejun: "S-sige po."

Hmm... That's weird alam naman ni lolo na ayaw ko makipag socialize kasi nga napaka hiyain ko.

Sejun's Pov

Lolo: "Oh Sejun dito ka na muna samahan mo si Claire."

Me: "S-sige po."

Ano ba yan kinakabahan ako, nakaka-konsensya naman hindi pa niya alam. But this is not the right time. Si lolo na bahala.

Me: " Hi Claire?"

Claire: "Hi"

Me: "Ayos ka lang ba?"

Claire: "Uh oo? Mej nawi-wierduhan lang ako sa mga nangyayare pero the rest okay naman."

Me: "Ah ganon talaga, hindi ba nila sinabi sayo kung anong gagawin dito?"

Claire: "Hindi nga eh, All I know na vacation gagawin dito hindi ganto. Haha pero that's okay para may iba naman kaming kasama."

Me: "Oh, yeah same pero sinabi nila sakin habang papunta dito."

Claire: "Ah."

Me: "Can I ask some questions?"

Claire: "Kahit nagtatanong ka na, okay lang. Hahaha"

Me: "oh, sorry. Hahaha Anong Year mo na?"

Claire: "1st Year college. Bs Psychology, ikaw ba?"

Me: "2nd Year college, Med. May balak mag doctor?"

Claire: "Yep."

Me: "Ah nice. Baka nga mag shift ako ng course sa business"

Claire: "Ha? Bakit naman ang layo ng med sa business ha?"

Me: "Sabi ng lolo Joseph ko need ko kumuha ng course na related sa business kasi ako na mag te-take over sa business. And one of your lolo will be my partner."

Claire: "ah, okay lang yan, pwede mo naman pag patuloy yung dream course mo after mo mag take ng business course."

Me: "Oh thank you. That support is what I need right now. May cafè kaya na malapit dito? Tara? Treat ko.#

Claire: "No problem, I can be your support system. Siguro, in front of this resort may nakita ako."

Me: "Sige, tara."

And sabay kaming tumayo and pumunta na kami sa cafè the day well spent, we got to know better na para na kaming close friends.

8pm we're now walking back to her room, hatid ko lang siya.

Claire: "Thanks for the treat! Bukas ulit, bye."

Me: "yep! No problem sige bukas nalang bye."

Pabalik na ako sa kwarto ko, habang naglalakad ako naiisip ko siya, I find her sweet, and shy. She's pretty.
