Art tips from previous announcment

To answer a question I was sent.

It's for the head shape or whatever.
1: I draw out all the basic shapes of the figure/ character first.
2: Make sure everything is light and not super dark with pencil.
3: Make sure the basic head shape doesn't look lopsided or weird in general.
4: Start lightly sketching the actually head shape.
5: Erase any unwanted guidelines and draw in the new lines a tiny bit darker.
6: Add detail. (Eyes, mouth, nose, etc. You would also use guidelines for this)
7: Done with the head.
