Nina's POV: I walk into the bar looking around looks like it's a busy night tonight huh joe I yell joe: yeah it is Nina I need you to get to work I don't want you slacking whenever you're supposed to be getting a raise this week Nina: ok I'm on it I smile at joe and he laughs then I walk away putting my stuff in the backroom then putting my tiny apron on I walk behind the barman: can I get a whisky Nina: yes coming right up. Ian's POV: Paul thinks this is a good idea like this place is crowded paul: oh come on bro you need to find a girlfriend, ok you have girls who drop at your feet and drool at you now lighten up get out there and mingle you haven't been with a girl ever since your divorce with Nikki ian: hey don't go there paul: I know but I'm just saying in yeah yeah I know let's go I say walking in a waitress leads us to our table I paul sits then I do and I look at the menu liking for a drink. Nina's POV: I'm wiping down a table Jessie: hey Nina table #5 needs two scotches on the rocks Nina: ok I yell getting the drinks ready then taking them over there I come with a tray ok gentlemen here are your scotches I say setting them down on the table smiling anything else paul: no that's all, for now, ian: I look up at this girl with dark tan skin and chocolate brown eyes she's skinny and the tale she has her hair curled no I'm good I say Nina: ok I say walking away. Ian's POV: I just stare at her as she walks away paul: hey there you go-go and talk to her ian: oh come on the man she is a bartender paul: so like I said you need to get out there ian: fine I say smiling as I get up I make my way through the crowd walking up to the bar I see her and I sit down. Nina's POV: I finish wiping the bar down then I look up and see that guy I just served hi guy from the table I served ian: hi I forgot to introduce myself my name's Ian somerhalder nina: I smile at him shaking his hand my name is nina dobrev it's nice to meet you ian ian: so what do you do for a living nina: oh you know small town girl small town life I just work as a server and bartender it gets the rent paid you know ian: yeah well I'm an actor I film movies make them I'm on this show right now called the vampire dairies I don't know if you've heard of it nina: I have I say smiling its so good I watch it all the time when I'm at home ian: oh really nina: yeah it's awesome well I hate to cut this short but I have to get back to work or my boss is gonna be mad ian: ok it was great meeting you nina: great meeting you two ian I say smiling at him then walking away. Ian's POV: I walk back over to paul: so how did it go I saw you guys chatting it up ian yeah she's something paul: that's good are you gonna see her again ian: yeah more than likely I'll pay the bill and we can head out paul: ok buddy I'll be in the car ian: ok I say he grabs his jacket puts it on then walks outside I grab my coat put it on I go up to the bar she gets done serving a lady and walks over to me Nina: just can't stay away can you ian: no I laugh but here's the money I and my friend are leaving now Nina: you know you could have paid at the counter in I know I just wanted an excuse to talk to you again I wink at her then leave.
