( exactly 4 months after the break up) Ninas POV: I sat at the bar taking shots of tequila I slam the glass down on the bar a little to hard and I yell woo putting both my arms up into the air and I laugh , than I shout another bartender: I don't think so ma'm I say looking at her unsure Nina: what come on I've only had like 1 I say looking at him angry bartender: Mrs Dobrev you've had like 6 shots in a row and I really wanna close up because it's almost 1 am in the morning so please enough I say glaring at her Paul: hey it's alright man I'll take over I say I'll get her out of here bartender: thanks sir I say and I leave . Nina: Paul I slur whyyy did you do that I ask stumbling forward Paul: I catch Nina as she stumbles I steady her than I look at her with a face of disappointment, Nina: oh come don't look at me like that I say waving his look away with a flick of my hand Paul: Nina you have responsibilities ok and you're here getting drunk Nina: I'm aware I have responsibilities you don't have to remind me I say glaring at him than I take another shot Paul: stop it I say yelling that's enough I say mad and I take the glass out of her hand Nina: you're such a party pooper Paul boo I say laughing, Paul: I roll my eyes and with that I drag her half drunken self out of the bar and I drive her home it was a good thing the kids were at my house with phoebe because I didn't want them seeing their mom like this again. ( next morning) Nina: I groan when I hear my phone start randomly ringing out of no where I reach my hand up and silence it on the table , but instead I pushed it onto the floor but at least it shut up I thought in my head but wait I sit up slowly and I look around blindly my eyes open everything coming into view and not blurry anymore I yawn stretching my arms above my head Paul: oh good you're awake I say walking into her room Nina: I almost jump but I find it's Paul and I relax Paul: here I brought you some breakfast I say and I set the tray down in front of her Nina: thank you I say and I first take the two pills with water than I start sipping on the coffee he brought me Paul: Nina I mean when I say this , you can't do that anymore you can't get drunk anymore ok it scares phoebe it scares me and this kids Nina: Paul I say Paul: look I'm you're friend and I care about you but seriously maybe it's time you get professional help on these issues you're having still Nina: I don't need professional help I say glaring at him Paul: look I'm just saying Nina: I know what you're implying and no I say no get out I wanna eat my food alone I'll be downstairs later Paul:fine I sigh than I get up and leave shutting the door behind me . Nina: After Paul had left I just sat there and cried for a long while , but than I reached my phone and I started scrolling through it until I saw Johnny's number and I hit call now I held the phone up to my ear until he answered it ringed for a few mins , than a voice said hello hey I say johnny: Nina I say in surprise Nina: yeah it's me I say johnny: hey how are you doing Nina: when he asks me how I'm doing a lump forms in my throat and I swallow hard to get rid of it but it doesn't happen johnny: Nina I say again Nina: than I just break down into sobs johnny: hey love woah hey it's ok just take deep breaths I say breath in and out I say again Nina: once I finally reach a stable breathing John starts talking to me Johnny: so what's wrong why'd you call me Nina: I was calling to say I just miss you so much and it's so hard I say trying not to cry again johnny: my eyes water at that one sentence she said oh sweetheart I say Nina: I don't even know why we broke up I mean I just I don't know what's wrong with me I say starting to cry again johnny: Nina hey calm down and listen to me ok please calm down Nina: what John I say johnny: it's gonna be ok doll I know it's gonna be ok alright , remember the reason why you wanted to take the break Nina: yeah I say johnny: ok Nina: but I don't care about that anymore I want you back I say johnny: after she said that I smiled to myself so you do I ask chuckling Nina: yeah I do I smile even tho he can't see me johnny: alright I'm coming over I smile Nina: ok I say happy.
