For the rest of the day we went shopping at the mall.
"Oh my! Look at this Nikki!" Austin said holding up a baby t shirt that said Of Mice & Men on it. I giggled, "Mannn, you know he's a Pierce the Veil baby!" Me and Alan laughed. "No way! he's totally going to wear this for the whole day!" Alan said, slipping it onto Xavier. I pouted at them but they just laughed.
*Later the night**
I sat in Xavier's room, holding my pride and joy as we skyped with Mike. Austin and Alan were taking a shower, Mike still didn't know they were staying over yet. Ahaa.
"Mikeeee. Xavier and I miss you so so much!" I said, holding Xavier's up and waving his little hand.
"Daddy misses you tooo! Just another month or so and you'll both be back in my arms!" Mikey exclaimed.
Xavier touched my arms, feeling it. He looked up at me, as if he knew something was very wrong. I almost started to cry. "Baby, what's wrong?" Mike asked.
"Huh? Oh, uh.. " I stuttered, being interrupted by Austin and Alan walking in laughing at something funny.
Mike tensed up noticably. I laughed at him, "They're just staying to help me and Alex out till you guys come home babe." I giggled. "Well I love you and Xavier so much." Mike sighed.
"Tell him!" Austin yell-whispered. "I can't!" I said slowly. "Can't what!?" Mike asked, focusing hard on me now.
"Ugh do I have to do everything around here!? Alan, put Xavier to sleep, Nikki, Mike let's go down stairs and talk!" Austin said.
"What's going on babe?" Mike was worried. "Say goodnight to daddy." I said to Xavier, holding him up. Mike blew him a kiss and i kissed his cheek and handed him to Alan.
Austin grabbed the laptop and walked down to the kitchen. I ran into my room to grab Mike's weed stash, and followed Austin. The two of us, and Mike sat in the kitchen. I began rolling a joint, Austin snorted lookking at me funny.
"Someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Mike said, noticing me rolling his weed.
"Mike, Nikki has something to show you. But she's very stubborn as you know." They both looked at me. I rolled my eyes and took a drag of the weed a blew it out. I slowly pulled off my bracelets and showed them my arms.
"Nikki! My baby! Oh my.." Mike couldn't even finish his sentence. "I thought you stopped that forever ago!? Babe why haven't you told me!?" He asked, worry was in his voice, tears threatened him.
"I just couldn't stand bringing that worry to you." I began crying. Austin hugged me and i cried harder into him. I looked up to my husband, "He's back babe. He found me again. That's the real reason Austin is here. To help me keep safe and Xavier safe. Until you're home." I sobbed harder.
"He" is a bad man. He used to date my mom when i was younger. He abused her and eventually started abusing me. One day I stood up to him and called the cops on him and he finally got taken away from us, but he always said he'd come back to get me when he could.
Being bullied at home, and at school, I cut myself as a child, and through highschool, till we moved to San Diego and I met Mike, he made me stop.
But I've re-opened the scars. I cried harder into Austins shoulder. "Oh babe!" Mike had tears rolling down his face. I couldn't bare to look at him. I took another drag of weed and got up to run to the bathroom. I heard and somewhat listened to Austin explain more to Mike. My heart sunk listening.
I slid the blade on my arm, not even realizing what I was doing. "Nikki! Mike wants to say goodnight!" Austin yelled from the kitchen,
Forgetting completely what i'd just done, and that my wrist was bleeding, I ran out to my baby. "NIKKI LYRIC FUENTES. WHAT THE HELL!" Austin yelled, I panicked and looked down feeling wetness in my palms. Oh yeah.. I mentally kicked myself for forgetting.
I heard Mike panicking, Austin grabbed my arms and showed Mike. He instantly started crying and I did too while Austin cleaned my arm for me. "I'm coming home soon babe, to protect you forever. I love you so much." He said sadly.
"I love you too." I said through my tears.
