The Cave

Ocean's P.O.V

"Bye mom!" I yelled as I exited my front door. I was going swimming at the beach in my secret spot as I called it. It was large area secured behind rocks that I was able to climb and somehow conceal myself. As far as I knew no one knew about this place other than me. As I slowly descended on the other side of the rocks I accidentally bumped my phone with my arm starting my favorite song on loud! "no no no!" I wisper screamed as I was afraid it would give myself away. The song played on as I fumbled for my phone.

And I forgot that when I started to sink

Were the last words it played before I practically smacked my screen pausing the music. I scrambled to slightly stick my head above the rock just enough so that only my eyes and up showed. Luckily no one was there. When I was safely standing on the sand again I made a mental note to myself saying not to leave my screen on music. I looked around and noticed the sky getting darker and being the precinct person I am wanted to swim for at least 5 minutes so I slipped off my cover up and walked into the water. I must've lost track of time because as I was swimming I noticed it was poring down rain I ran up on the sand and checked my phone I was lucky it was under my cover up. My mom would kill if I came home like this. I couldn't go to a friends house because they would question were I was since the lifeguards would've made me get out, and on top of that I couldn't lie to them and tell them I was at the pool for four reasons:

1. There my friends

2. I didn't want them to find my secret place

3. The indoor pool was closed

4.The lifeguards would've made me get out of the outdoor pool

I sighed as I searched the rocks for shelter.

And suddenly CRACK! I jumped because the thunder scared me. I ended up bumping into a rock which rolled over and revealed a cave. "Jackpot!" I yelled and I stepped inside. I immediately felt an urge to go further and as I started to walk I wondered what would happen if I got lost in in the cave I would probably have to call someone and give up my secret spot. I couldn't bear to lose this place so I took one last step before turning around when........ Haha cliffhanger anyway I hope you liked my first chapter and feel free to correct some gramer mistake I made so thanks for reading bye.
