Ch. 2 Inside

 Ocean's  P.O.V

One more step that's all but, nope you can't make anything easy for Ocean. You're probably wondering what went wrong well.

---flashback---
  One more step and I'll turn around and wait for the storm to pass. But when I took that "last" step something went wrong. I heard a loud CRACK!  I started to fall and then roll down the slope that I hit. When I reached the bottom I looked around it was just a normal cave as far as I could see.

---flashback over---

That pretty much brings sums it up. I looked around there was only one entrance with a cyan blue glow coming out of it. I was puzzled what was that light?  I was about to go and look at what was causing the light but I remembered I just fell down a FREAKING HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CAVE THAT'S UNKNOWN TO ALL OF MANKIND EXEPT ME (A\N  cuz that totally makes sense) I looked up and and noticed the slope I rolled down wasn't a slope at all it was hole that went straight down. I sighed looks like I'll have to go see what that light is anyway. I slowly got up off of my aching butt and walked to the cave. When I entered the extra cave/ room thingy my jaw dropped it was gorgeous. There was a pool that was cyan blue that was somehow glowing there was Crystal in the wall that seemed to change to every color of the rainbow! I took a step toward the wall to examine the strange rock but nope once again I slipped and fell. Thankfully I landed in that pool thing and it didn't hurt that much but I looked up the moon was above me since when was there a volcano near this beach? "Mom is sooooo gonna kill me" I muttered. I was about to get out of the water and call someone when I noticed an opening I see the pool near my house! I started to swim towards the tunnel when the water started bubbling around me I looked around frantically trying to see what was happening pretty much the only thing unusual were the bubbles. After about 2 minutes I left the strange bubbles and went through the tunnel. It felt wrong somehow to leave the bubbles going but oh well I need to get home to my dad and step mom she'd been my mom since I was 8 my dad married her 2 years after my real mom disappeared when I was 5 all I remember  is her eyes and my dad being devastated and he kept muttering something about a fish queen but then he met Lillian his future wife. I swam to the pool area and pulled myself up. I ran as fast as I could to our house I turned the neighborhood corners I knew by heart and onto my street I was lucky I grabbed my stuff before going in that cave. I bolted up my driveway and opened the door quickly stepping in and slamming the door behind me as loud as I could. "Mom?!" I called "Dad?!" "Ocean!? Ocean your back!!" they shouted in unison I prepared for the scolding I knew was coming and started making an excuse "why were you out so late young lady and why are you so wet?" my father said. Here comes the excuse "I lost track of time" I replied "and why are you wet" my mom said crossing her arms "missed you to" I said sarcastically while death staring her she usually had my back with these things. My dad signaled for me to answer the question so I did......... With a half lie "Do you not see how hard it's raining out there I was drenched while coming" once again that was a half lie yes I was drenched while coming but that wasn't the whole truth I had been swimming in the Ocean for Pete's sake. Thankfully they believed me and let me change into dry clothes yeah they're pretty cool parents they never ground me unless I do something really bad.
