Olivia woke up to the sound of her alarm clock ringing. Hitting the snooze button, she sat up and looked at her surroundings. The room was already set up with a drawer and a bedding, but everything else was empty.

"Note to self: put up decorations." She said to herself.

She grabbed her phone and walked downstairs. "Morning Aunt Kayla" Olivia greeted her aunt, grabbing a water bottle. Her aunt chuckled, putting her glasses on top of her head.

"Babe, it's noon, morning is far gone" Aunt Kayla picked up her phone and showed Olivia the time: 12:07 PM. Olivia's eyes widened. She didn't realize how tired she was last night.

"Jeez"

"So what do you want to do today?" Aunt Kayla asked Olivia, looking at her computer.

"Can you take me to the mall? I need some summer clothes and I wanted to put some stuff in my room" Olivia asked her, giving her the puppy dog eyes. Her aunt chuckled, "yeah that's fine, I have to meet a client in an hour so go get changed and I'll drop you off"

Olivia smiled at her and went upstairs to change.

"Don't talk to any strangers and text me when you're finished!" Her aunt yelled from the window before driving away. Olivia chuckled at her crazy aunt and walked inside the mall.

Olivia had walked around for a good hour and half, buying almost everything she needed. She was standing in line at Tropical Smoothie, waiting for her smoothie to be made when someone tapped her shoulder.

"Uhm excuse me?" She turned around and saw a boy her age -and height- with a awkward haircut. "Hi my name is Alvaro" He smiled awkwardly.

"I'm Olivia"

"So uhm I don't mean to come off rude or disrespectful but see that table of boys sitting behind us" Olivia looked over his shoulder and saw 5 boys looking at them. "Yeah they bet me $50 bucks that I wouldn't come up to you and get your number so if you could just do me a solid" He asked, rubbing the back of his head.

Olivia chuckled, "that's really cute, yeah i'll give you my number" He smiled and handed Olivia his phone. From afar you can hear the boys all saying "what the fuck". She put her number in and gave it back to him.

"Are you new around here?" Alvaro asked the brunette.

"I'm here for the summer, I'm living with my aunt. I'm originally from Florida" She told him, grabbing her smoothie from the barista.

"Do you want to meet my friends?" Alvaro asked, pointing to the group behind him. Olivia gave him a questionable look, "you'll love them!" He grabbed her hand and walked over to the table.

"Guys, this is Olivia" She waved my hand awkwardly, feeling them stare at her.

"This is Kairi, Alejandro, Mattia, Roshaun and Robert!" Alvaro pointed to each of the boys at the table.

"Please join us" Alejandro smiled at her, patting the seat next to him.

"I don't wanna intrude on your guys hang out session I-" Alvaro pulled Olivia down to sit and she glared at him. "Alright you gotta stop pulling my arm or you're just gonna end up making me lose a limb" Alvaro put his hands up in defense while the others laughed.

"So what brings you to jersey?" Kairi asked her while chewing on a fry.

"I was able to get into a tour with the music program at Princeton University and my parents are away on their second honeymoon" Olivia explained to them.

"You sing?!"

"Can you sing for us?"

A bunch of questions were thrown at her and she looked in front of her and saw Mattia just staring at her. She cleared her throat, "Uhm maybe next time" The boys frowned.

They were all getting to know each other for the past 30 minutes. Olivia realized how sweet the boys were. Alejandro explained the whole tiktok blow up to her and how the group is called "New Jersey Boys", which made her laugh a little. They told Olivia that they were still in school for another month and was shocked that she was out of school early, but it was only because her principal had a heart attack so they cancelled the rest of the year.

"We have a few more soccer games ahead of us if you want to come and watch us" Mattia asked her.

"Yeah, I'd like that" Olivia smiled at Mattia. He gave me a small smile back and joined the conversation between Roshaun and Kairi.

In the middle of her conversation with Alejandro, her phone started ringing. "Hey aunt Kayla!" Olivia answered.

"Hey sweetie! I'm so sorry but its gonna be another 30 minutes until I can come and get you, my meeting is running a little behind" Aunt Kayla told her niece. "NO THOSE ARE NOT THE DRAWINGS I HAD YOU DIMWIT" 

Olivia laughed at her outburst, "It's okay Aunt Kayla, I'll just walk home. It's only a ten minute walk"

"Are you sure? Oh I feel terrible" Olivia can picture her aunt sitting and having her head in her hands.

"Dont even worry about it, bye aunt Kayla" Olivia hung up the phone and look up to see six boys looking at her, dumbfounded. "What?" She questioned them.

"You're not walking home" Alvaro told her.

"Says who?" Olivia scoffed.

"Says me. I can drive you home" Mattia told the brunette girl.

"I-" Mattia gave Olivia a look, which shut her up.  He smirked at her, making her roll her eyes. "Stupid tiktok boys" Olivia mumbled under her breath, crossing her arms and sitting back.

"I think we're all gonna be great friends here" Alejandro smiled, putting his arm around her.

'This is gonna be a long summer' Olivia thought to herself.
