in which a girl spends her summer in new jersey with her aunt to focus on her future goal : Princeton University - but instead finds the one and only Mattia Polibio.
I was sitting on my bed, folding my clothes into my suitcase. There was a knock on my door,making me look up and seeing the two hispanic boys. "Where's Kairi and Robert?" I asked them.
Alejandro came and sat next to me while Alvaro sat on the edge of the bed, "Uhm Mattia asked if we wanted to hang out so they went" Alejandro explained.
"Oh." I looked down at the shirt in front of me. "Well if you guys wanna go there you can, I'll be fine doing this myself"
"No Liv we wanna spend time with you before you leave" Alvaro reassured him.
"Shut up you literally are gonna see her in 2 weeks" Alejandro pouted. I chuckled at his facial reaction.
"I'm sorry that this is how I have to leave. You guys know I never wanted any of this to happen" I fiddled with the shirt and looked at the two boys in front of me. "I don't want you guys to stop being friends with him or chose me over him. He was your guys friend first and I don't want to be the reason that all stops" I confessed. Seeing the boys separate is the last thing I wanted and I definitely don't want to lose their friendship.
"Liv" Alejandro grabbed my hand, "What he did was so stupid but that's Mattia. He's somehow stupid in his own way. We hate that you guys broke up but that doesn't mean anything. We're still gonna talk to you and we're still gonna be friends with that dumbass"
"Yeah he's our dumbass big brother" Alvaro smiled. I chuckled and threw the shirt at him.
"Okay these bags are not gonna pack themselves" I hopped off the bed, grabbing luggages.
