At The Hospital

Arriving at the hospital, Donna was taken in for care and the others were forced to wait outside. A half hour later Red, Kitty and Bob arrived. Red was depressed but didn't exactly show it too much and Kitty was on the brink of crying and Bob was hugging Red, who surprisingly didn't push him away. Donna was like a daughter to both Red and Kitty and the fact that she has been stabbed and her chance of surviving weren't looking too good was enough to break their hearts. Kitty also lost her respect for Casey as she kept on saying to herself 'That bastard Casey' .

And as for the rest of us, we were the same: depressed. I mean, the stab wound was pretty big and deep that who knows if she could survive that. Some of the gang had fallen asleep (like Kelso and Hyde) but the rest of us were tapping our feet and biting our nails. They couldn't handle this kind of pressure.

"Do you think she will survive?" Fez asked.

"I hope so," Eric said in return. There's not a sure answer for that question. There were no updates on her and she was suppose to go on surgery but for some reason they held off. Eric was pacing around the waiting room, a way to handle the pressure.

"Eric, calm down," Jackie reassured.

"No Jackie, I won't," Eric said. "My girlfriend is in danger and until the doctors come out and say she's all fine, then I will keep stressing."

"Eric sweetie, she's right," Kitty also said, but he wasn't going to listen to either of them.

"I need to go to the bathroom," Eric said, and left. As soon as he got to a stall he threw up. This amount of pressure and guilt is killing him. He swiped the vomit from his mouth and just sat in despair, clutching his head with his hands and catching his breath. 1980 was suppose to be a good year, but instead we ended up with this. The 80s weren't looking good so far. In fact, Eric wishes it was still the 70s where they were in basement, listening to rock gods like Led Zeppelin, The Who or Queen and catching up with their circles. Eric swayed his hair with his hand and exited the stall where someone else had just come in.

"Hey son," The person said.

"Hey dad," Eric responded. It was weird not hearing Red call him a dumbass, but he knew this wasn't the time to do that.

"Listen, Donna will be fine," Red reassured,a small sympathetic smile on his face.

Eric sighed. "I'm not sure about that dad. The cut was really deep and she lost a lot of blood so I'm not too confident in that."

Eric was starting to walk off but Red had gently clutched Eric's arm, making him turn around.

"Listen, son," Red said. Eric was shocked at how sympathetic Red was being. "I know this whole thing is worrying you, but Donna's a strong girl. I guarantee you she will make it."

Eric didn't know what to say, but he nodded and smiled sadly. "Thanks dad."

And more shockingly, Red pulled him in for a hug. This was shocking, but Eric returned it. Then when they let go, Red gave him a pat on the back and walked out. Eric couldn't help but smile but then brushed it aside and joined the others in the waiting room.

"It's been a freaking two hours!" Bob complained. "What the hell is happening in surgery?!"

Red and Kitty were trying to calm him down by pulling him back into his seat but he was too strong for them. He had enough anger spurting out to kill someone in just a single punch. He even was yelling at one of the doctors who probably wasn't even part of Donna's surgery.

"What kind of doctor are you if you can't even fix my baby?!" He yelled. He must've been really steamed if his entire face was turning red like a tomato. The poor doctor was petrified, probably thought he would end up in a hospital bed also. But Red finally pulled Bob down to his chair and buried his face in his palms. I guess you could excuse Bob for lashing out, since that was his daughter in there.
