*April 1980*

It was now a couple months into the 80s, and life was pretty normal. Eric was still asleep but Red woke him up by pounding on the door and walking off. Groaning angrily, he got out of bed and headed downstairs into the kitchen. The smell of bacon and eggs pleased him, and was greeted by his mum by a kiss on the forehead and just a simple nod by Red. He didn't have the day planned, except just hanging with his friends. Instead of 6 of them, their will be one person short. Yep... Donna. She's went off to college for a few months and I hear she will come and visit for a few days.

"So what's your plans today?" Kitty asked.

Eric shrugged. "Hanging out with my friends, probably going to listen to Alice Cooper's new 'Flush the Fashion' album."

"That shouldn't be the question, Kitty," Red said. "The question should be what's your plans in the future."

Eric groaned. "No, not this conversation again."

"I just wanna know your plans," Red said, sitting up seriously. "Are you dating Donna?"

"I guess,"  Eric said. Hopefully that kiss in New Years Eve confirmed it.

"What about your job?" Red also asked.

Eric shrugged. "I'll get one as soon as possible."

"I'm talking about your teaching job," Red said.

"I'll teach at some school," Eric said.

"Make sure it's in Wisconsin and not some state 1,000 miles away from here," Kitty said, pinching his cheek. "I don't want my baby boy away from me again."

Eric brushed her hand away and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm not going to Africa anytime soon."

Now the whole gang was in the basement, listening to Alice Cooper's song in his new 'Flush the Fashion' album. Hyde was sitting in his usual chair and Fez and Jackie were sitting down, holding hands. They seemed like an unlikely couple but after a few months of them they seemed pretty legit.

"Hey, you know what would make these songs sound better?" Kelso said, grinning. Hyde and Fez clearly got it as they were smiling also,

"Nah man, it's too early," Eric said.

Kelso scoffed. "Fine, be the Mr. boring-I-don't-want-to-do-weed-because-it's-too-early man."

"Yeah Eric, you're such a wuss," Fez chimned in. "Even Jackie is going to do it."

"Yeah, because I'm not a wuss like Eric," Jackie smiled.

So then they got the stuff ready, got into a circle and soon enough got high, as Eric was sitting on the washing machine reading his comics but still overhearing their conversation.

"Hey guys..." Hyde said. "Have you heard about this car that runs on water?"

"When does that boat get here?" Fez asked.

"It's not a boat, man," Hyde corrected. He then kept sniffling. "It's a car that runs on water."

"Sounds like a crappy invention to me," Jackie said.

"You sound like a crappy invention to me," Hyde mocked.

"Burn!" Kelso shouted.

"Shut up, Michael," Jackie scolded, then turned to Fez. "Tell him, Fez."

"Yeah, Kelso, shut your hole," Fez told Kelso.

"Burn!" Jackie shouted.

"Yeah, his name was Stanley Meyer!" Eric chimned in from out of the circle.

"Yeah, see. Forman's with me!" Hyde said, pointing his thumb at me over his shoulder.

"I mean, why not just buy a normal boat?" Jackie said.

"A normal boat wouldn't be as cool as a water car," Kelso said. "You should know this!"

"Well, the government hasn't released it though," Hyde said.

"Yeah, only a dummy wouldn't know about it," Kelso said.

"Then why do you know it, then?" Fez said.

"That's a burn, man," Hyde laughed.

Eric couldn't help but roll his eyes. Even though they sounded stupid compared to when their not high, sometimes it was funny seeing their inner-stupidity.

"Hey guys, what number is funnier than 5?" Kelso said.

"Hmm... don't know man," Hyde said.

Kelso chuckled. "6."

By that, everyone started laughing their butts off and falling down to the ground. Eric, without taking his eyes off of the comic, rolled his eyes. Why did it seem that the same drugs they have been taken seemed to make them more stupid than before.

"Kelso, you're so funny!" Jackie exclaimed, huffing from the laughing breakdown.

"You know what else would be funny?" Jackie said, giggling. "Spray painting the word ass on every building!"

Then the room went berserk with laughing.

"That would be awesome!" Kelso shouted.

"Or we could spray paint kiss my brown ass," Fez said, then everyone had a laughing attack.

"Even better," Hyde said. "Let's go!"

They all rushed out of the room except Eric, who shook his head and sat on the couch. At least he'll have some alone time. He turned the TV on to watch Happy Days but as he was skimming through the channels something caught his attention on the news channel.

"This just in," The reporter said on the TV. "Some locals in Gem City found a disturbing crime on a train that had toppled off the track. When they searched the train they found no one except the dead train driver. At first they thought it was from the crash, but it turns out there were cut marks all over his body including harsh bleeding from his chest. Police are aiming to find out who killed this guy, not only in Gem City but checking the cities where the train runs through."

Eric's heart immediately sank. He forgot all about that time, and once now reminded images of the dead bleeding bodies came rushing through his head. Man, he wished that memory could just be erased from his mind, but he knows for now on that will the only thought in his head. He wish he could talk to somebody about it but it was too disturbing and uncomfortable. Also if he told his friends, they'd probably laugh and burn him, if he told Kitty she'd probably freak out and smother him even more or if he told Red he'd just call him a dumbass. Not able to handle this pressure, he turned off the TV and just stood there, sighing heavily and resting his palm on his forehead, taking all this in.

"Hey Forman."

The snuck up voice startled him, almost jumping out of his place. He turned to see Hyde standing at the door of the basement.

"You coming?" He asked.

"Nah, I'll just stay down here," Eric responded. Hyde just nodded and closed the door behind him as Eric sat on the couch. He needed to take his mind off of this. Needed to do something fun.

"Screw it," Eric said to himself, and followed Hyde out of the basement.
