I strolled through the hall making my way to the back door of the school where the dilapidated toilet block remained. Out of the corner of my eye I spot little richy boy, eyes black and nose buried in thick white bandages. His gaze darted between me and anywhere else the fear in his eyes still remained from yesterday. The general rumour of the incident was that he just ate asphalt; he seemed to go along with it rather than admitting the edgy kid beat the snot outta him.

I had a good 10 minutes before I even had to head to the toilet block so I took my time, subtly listening in on some peoples conversations; a good way to find out the local happenings without actually having to talk to anyone. There was nothing out of the ordinary, these people slept with each other, these people broke up, that teacher is creepy stay away from them, etc... but then I overheard something that actually peaked my interest.

"You gonna be at Jacks party this Saturday?" Some random girl spoke to her friend; what perfect timing

"Oh yeah, where is it?" The friend replied

"It's at X street, I don't know the number but apparently we'll know when we get there."

And with that I got all the info I needed, I was going to that party, and Tord was coming with me.

"Not happening." Tord stated bluntly pulling the red hoodie he loved so much on.

"Oh come on, you have to experience at least 1 highschool party, even just for 10 minutes. You're not allowed to go your entire highschool career without setting foot in a house party." I pleaded, so desperate to convince him to even try.

"Okay for starters I don't think I'll even be allowed out of the house on Saturday night without a set place to be. My parents are crazy remember. They'll only want me to be going to someone they approve of's place, they'd probably want to speak to their parents first as well and like hell they'd let me stay out past 12 not to mention anywhere near 3 in the morning." He sounded stern, this was the first time I'd heard such a tone come from his mouth.

"That's why you sneak out, it's easier than you'd think. What time do your parents go to bed at?"

"About 10 I think." Tord replies less stern; more confused.

"Pfft, that's piss easy! Parties don't even get good until 11 earliest anyway. Look if I didn't think it was possible I wouldn't be so gung-ho about you going."

"But... I don't think I'd even have the nerve to sneak out on my own, I'd probably freeze up if I even thought about trying."

"Then I'll come and get you! Where do you live anyway? I can come pick you up, be the lookout if need be and then safely drop you back off home! It's fool proof!"

"Are you certain? I know you have it easy when it comes to punishments but if my parents find out I'm dead... actually death would be too forgiving."

"I am certain, I promise. We can go for like an hour even, just to be safe," His face contorts uncomfortably, his mind clearly a sea of mixed emotions, his eyes darting sporadically around the dreary room, "I understand if you really don't want to, but I also don't want you finishing your last ever year of highschool with not a single good memory. I've been to house parties like this before and even I think they're fun, and I hate everyone in this school," I laugh and I can see a smile creep on his face

"An hour. Hour and a half tops!" He points a finger at me sternly the smile that still sat on his lips kinda taking away from his seriousness.

"Yess!" I bound over to him wrapping my arms around him tightly, lifting his slender frame off the ground slightly, "Its gonna be the best time of your life! Bet!" He laughs heartily wrapping his arms around my shoulder to steady himself
