Emotions at their most basic state,
Are simply chemicals,
So as a scientist,
I should be able to relate,
And control how they react,
In my body and my mind,
Through lists, charts, formulas,
Maybe I'll develop something in time,
But for right now, despite my research,
And my theories, and results from the lab,
There are particular emotions,
I can't seem to understand.
