Heath paced back and forth in his crown room, shaking from anger. Power was radiating throughout the entire hall, making the servants and Kingdom Warriors before him bow under the pressure. His teeth were grinding together in his fit of anger and hurt.

How could she run away?, he thought to himself. Of course she'd run away, he was such an idiot. He treated her so coldly, so differently than he should have. It wasn't her fault that she was thrown into this messed up situation. He felt the inner parts of himself begin to snap under the strong emotions he was feeling.

"Your Highness, what would you like for us to do?" One Kingdom Warrior asked, his gaze fixed solely on the floor. He was careful not to make eye contact with a King who was so close to losing control.

"I will find her." He growled loudly, getting angrier with every word. Without a second thought, his true form began to take control over his body. Bones were snapping in different directions, his mouth elongating into a muzzle filled with razor sharp teeth. Light grey hair was erupting on every part of his body, shining in the moonlight. It was almost as if the tips of each hair shone and reflected onto the floor. His muscles reformed and shifted into different areas, completing his change.

Leaving his robes on the floor, he began to charge where her scent led. It was like wildflowers were leading him the way to her location. His ears flattened to his head as he charged on through the hallways and breaking the glass on a first floor window.

Heath let out a low growl that rumbled from deep within his chest when he realized where the scent was leading to. The mountain range.

How could the guards not catch her?, he felt rage take over his body. He would have to deal with that later, for now he had to find Emily.

His sharp claws were digging into the ground as he charged toward the far treeline. He heard others behind him but were slowly losing him because of how much faster Heath was. Cold wind flowed between his fur.

The moon was shining brightly down on him, almost as if the Ancient ones were sending a spotlight to help find his way. His nose was close to the floor as he made sure to not miss anything at all.

Reaching the treeline, he let out a low warning growl toward the Warriors and snapped at them when they knelt on the floor. Not missing a beat in his hunt, he continued on.

With his powerful hind legs launching him more and more toward the treeline of the forest surrounding the mountain range, he felt motivated to find this troublesome woman.

He realized he hadn't felt this way in such a long time. So worried about another being, wanting to see their face, feeling regret for his treatment of her. He was angry at himself for treating her in such a way. If Lane were standing before him he could break his neck at the very moment at the punishment he brought down on the poor girl not too long ago.

The forest was quiet, the scent of the trees and wildlife drifted to his nose. It was almost too quiet. Heath knew about the dangers that lay in the forest, Rogues who inhabited this place since they were unwelcome in the Kingdom or any others.

The girl, Emily, was quick on her feet. Heath thought he would have found her by now. Her strong scent told him that she had been there recently, her footprints almost imprinted in the soil.

Ah, right here., Heath thought, coming upon a clearing in the forest.

It alarmed him that a couple of other scents mixed in with the wildflowers. His heart sped up as his vision zoomed in on the brown-haired girl who stood in the middle of the clearing.

Her beautiful blue eyes were wide in horror as she stared at three half human, half wolf type of things standing right in front of her. They growled menacingly, not realizing Heath was making his grand entrance.
