I ran trough the hallways finally finding the exit that I needed to get outside.

Only to be stopped by Sam holding on to me tightley.

"Sam what are you doing?, let go of me I have to go help my father" I say in a desperate voice.

"No Abigail it's dangerous,I won't allow you to go outside"Sam explained.

"Please Sam" I begged but he only shook his head in return so I did the only thing remotely possibly at that moment.

"I punched Sam in the gut as he fell to the ground in pain.

" I'm so sorry "I say before running outside but i was to late.

Thick fog  clouded the place as snow fell everywhere. I rubbed my arm trying not to step on any sleeping ELF'S who laid on the floor.

"Chris" I yelled as my lips begun to tremble.

"Over here" he says weakly standing in the center sitting at a watering well.

I walked to him slowly taking a seat next to him in silence.

"Everything is gone, destroyed like it shouldn't have been here in the first place. I sacrificed so much only to have my efforts destroyed" he says in a crooked voice.

I remind silent in response not knowing what to say.

"I failed everyone,including you,hell I couldn't even protect the ELF's" my father says sarcastically.

"It's not your fault, stop being so hard on yourself, because it isn't over it can't be."

"Yes it is!,Everything is destroyed, Christmas is doomed
and I'm to blame for it all!" he yells near my face causing me yo cower in fear.

He seemed to understand my reaction because he moved his face from mine as he walked away.

"Chris wait!"

"I want to be alone Abby" he says as he  desepeard  trough the thick fog.

Tears  fell on my cheeks as I realised that my father made me cry for the first time and it didn't feel good.

I felt so confused not knowing what to do.Why is my father blaming everything on himself?Something told me that there was much more to this story then I'm led to believe and I had to find out what it was before putting my next plan into action.

I wiped the tears off my face with my fingers before walking back to headquarters determined to find my father and get the answer I need.

"Don't worry guys I'm gonna do everything I can to get you up well and going again" I promised taking the lift to the top straight to the heart of headquarters.

I arrived at the top within minutes as everyone fell silent even Fred who always had something to say.

"Kristie I need you to tell me where my father is" I whispered softly.

"Uh he...he's in the storage room Sam will take you " she answers sadly.

"Okay thanks,Fred I need you to round everyone up I will be back in a few minutes" I command turning to Fred.

"Why" Fred asks in confusion.

"Just do it you'll find out soon enough" I reply as Sam led me to the door.

We made it to the storage room in silence coming to a stop in front of the door.

"I'm really sorry about earlier" I say awkwardly.

"It's okay guess that's what I get trying to come in between a pretty girl and her father" Sam says with a wink causing me to blush.

"You may go I'll be back at headquarters soon" I say with a smile.
