Santa's Little Helper

Chapter Ten

"We have to hurry there's not much time left" I say as Fred claimed on a horse with me on the back.

"It's okay Petdro is the fastest horse in the North Pole so stop biching and hold on tight. " Fred said as we rode out threw the thick snow.

I held on tightly while Fred rode like a pro.Our destination was getting close till the horse came to a sudden stop.

"Ah what's  w-wrong" I asked feeling scared cause these wood where creepy and it was dark out.

"Uh nothing it's nothing " Fred replied nervously.

"Why'd you stop then"

"Because I saw a wolf and his staring right at us" Fred replied.

"W-what b-but horses are afraid of wolfs I I'm afraid of wolfs" I said in a whisper.

"I-I know" Fried says shakily.

The situation got worst since three more wolfs arrived ready to kill.

We where sorounded .

"Maybe their nice" Fred whispered.

"No there not,there about to have dinner" I replied.

"Oh really what's on the menu cause I'm starving" Fred says excitedly.

I rolled my eyes before saying "Us dummy where on the menu.

" Oh shit"was all Fred said before the wolfs attack as the the horse threw us off in panic and began running away.

"Pedro" I yell"Some horse you have "I say in a bitter tone.

"Yeah I'm gonna fire him as soon as we get home"Fred explained.

I picked up a near by stick clenching it tightly.

" Stay back "I yelled while swinging the stick in the air.

But the wolfs only walked closer snapping the grabbing the stick from my hand with it's mouth and causing me to fall on the ground.

"Abby!"Fred yelled in fear but I didn't say anything in return cause my heart felt like running out of my chest.

I was scared out if my mind wishing that all this was just a dream a terrible dream that is would soon wake up from.

Two wolfs launched for Fred as he stared wide eyed they were going to kill him and I couldn't let that happened.

" No Fred!,BURN!"I yelled while wholding my right palm in the air as it began to glow like my father's palm glowed the last time.

"Burn!" I yell once more as my hand began shining brighter as the two wolfs at my side ran away while the others who attacked Fred caught fire and began howling in pain as they ran away.

I took a beep breath in relief as my hand began turning to normal I felt powerful and strong as I pushed off the ground squealing for a moment or two before witnessing Fred's body on the ground.

"Fred" I yelled while lifting him off the ground since he was light as a feather.

His eyes where shut ,but he seemed to be breathing.

"Fred!say something please"

"That was incredible" Fred says while smiling brightly causing me to laugh in relief.

"Fred I'm so glad your okay" I say while giving him a tight hug.

"You saved my life SBD for that I would always be grateful for" he said while hugging me tightly.

We pulled apart after a few moments.

"We should get going the place must be up that cliff I say pointing North.

" Right but how did you do it ,the wolfs where like DANG and you where like BANG"Fred said as we began walking.

"I don't know can we just focus on the task at hand" I reply.

"Okay grumpy but your where wow-"

"No she are not coming that" I state plainly.

"Fine" he say with a sight.

We made it up the cliff where the a Christmas sky stood with rain dears attached to it. Okay so it was a little cliche but I was willing to take it in order to save Christmas.

"Wow I never thought that I'd ever see you guys again" Fred says while rubbing one rain dear 's head.

"We can catch up later" I say while getting into the sly.

"Do you even no how to ride a sly" Fred ask while rolling his eyes as he go into the sly.

"No but I'm open to suggestions" I admit while staring at all the buttons which is used to control the sly.

"Great" Fred says sarcastically.

"Well where just gonna go with the flow" I reply pulling the ropes tight that will help me steer the the rain dear.

"Ready" I ask in a voice full of determination.

"No" Fred said wide eyed.

"Don't worry about a thing you just have to to actually what I say and when I say it ,people do this in the movies all the time,don't worry they survived and we'll surly survive to" I reassured.

He only nod in return.

I took a deep breath before yelling "March!" as the rain dear began running trough the snow taking the sled along with it.

"Hang on" i shout i we took off.

It tool me a moment to seize control but I finnaly got it.

"Okay Fred I need you to switch on the flying mode please."

"Sorry what,now" Fred asked.

"Now Fred!"

He switched on flight mode as the rain dears began running in the air.

"Hang on" I say as the sled start to lift in the air.

"Oh no we're going to die,why god why me!" Fred asked in panic causing me to roll my eyes as I fought to remain in control of the sled.

After a few bumps and turns a finnaly managed to seize control.

"Okay that wasn't so bad" I say in a shaking voice.

"Really you have got to be giddy me, I almost died!!" Fred yelled.

I roll my eyes before saying"Next stop Santa's workshop "

We had to hurry because it was already early in the morning
time was running out....
