Life carries on
I'm supposed to be strong
I have forgiven you
I act okay too
I'm not fine
When the words cut my skin
Leaving so many lines
Bleeding, paper thin
I bleed, I burn, I cry
Hidden in my lies
You never wonder why
You have gone without goodbye
My eyes drip tears
They show my fears
No one hears
I'm switching gears
My life can't end
I will mend
I may break
But at least I'll feel again
