Chapter 1

Every one stood still not believing what had just happened. Luna stood there with her eyes wide and her body shaking, she just told her own father who is one of the council members and is ranked 5th in the whole pack to stop. Luna's father glared at Luna with pure hate in his eyes

"I will not have you disgrace me in front of two omegas and a mutt" stated Luna's father. He dropped the boy and walked over to Luna, as he began to get close. He grew white hair from the side of his face forming side burns, his teeth sharpened and his bottoms canines erupted out of his mouth going out past his top lip, his eyes burned a dark gold with tints of black appearing, and he grew bulkier he slapped Luna across the face sending her flying to the side and crashing on the cold snow. He walked over and lifted Luna by her neck, as she was suspended in the air his claws dug into the side of her neck drawing dark red blood that slid down his fingers.

"Father....stop....please" luna begged trying to push out words from her body.

"You don't tell me what to do" stated Luna's father with anger. He raised his hand and swiped down to cut Luna's face, Luna closed her eyes in anticipation. Time seemed to slow down enough for Luna to think of one thing, its the boy's fault. If he hadn't been so weak she wouldn't be in this situation. Suddenly Luna dropped to the ground, instinctively she crawled in the fetal position.

" Don't" was the only word she had heard him say. Luna opened her eyes and saw the boy standing in between luna and her father, he had one hand up holding back her father's hand. Her father had absolute shock on his face and so did Luna, for a different reason though. The boy wasn't in his werewolf form, he was holding back a member of the council of alphas.

" Get your hands off of me" he tried to rip his arm away from the boy but his grip was to strong. As the boy let go Luna's father fell backwards on to his ass. " who are you!" Luna's father screamed as the boy started walking away.

" Helios" he stated, Helios stopped and offered his hand to her. She took it and stood up, she brushed off her clothes and stared at her father. He had fury in his eyes, as if Helios had just killed something that he cherished. Her father screamed in rage

"YOU WORTHLESS MUTT" He got up cursing under his breath that no one could hear. He was caked in mud and his white hair stained with leaves. "someone grab him and skin him alive!" Luna's father shouted. The two omega's shook there head as if to break a spell they were put under, they ran and changed baring there teeth. Helios grabbed Luna's wrist and ran towards the hill, Helios knew he could take them but for some reason he could feel Luna's fear. So he took her away through the tree's, the omega's were on there tails weaving in between tree's and trying to bite at there legs to slow them down.

" Run, if you trust me then head to the lake just west of here. I will handle them" Helios commanded, Luna was baffled. Sure he was stronger but she was still high rank so she didn't have to listen to him

" Exuse me but you have no power to tell me what to do so you need to follow me" Luna said with a growl behind her voice. As the omega's lepted to attack Luna, Helios tackled her and pinned her in a ditch. He put all of his weight on her body and pinned her by her wrists and thighs. His breath was hitting her neck and his blue eyes shifted to a dark blue. Luna soon relized something that secretly thrilled her, he was holding back his werewolf form.

"Is this enough power for you? I don't know if you understand this or not but those wolves are trying to kill you. Not beat you like your father does, not say mean things about your stupid rank. But kill me, rip my throat apart and eat me for dinner. And I get lucky, you being a beautiful girl get so much worse if they catch you" Helios replied with a cold tone. Luna was full of emotions and questions, ", did he just offend my rank in the pack, did he just call me beautiful". Luna's face turned red she was about to say something to helios untill she heard growling from the top of the ditch. Helios got off of her and she ran, she didn't stop or look back. She ran until her legs gave out, Luna collapsed on cold grass. She hadn't relized but it was mid day and Helios was nowhere near her, Luna looked back at where she ran from. She had just ran 3 miles in thirty minutes, she knew Helios was faster so he should have been here.

A forced scream came from the top of the hill. Luna froze, she was terrified that the scream came from Helios. Her muscles tightened and her breath became short, she started blaming herself. If he was dead she would never be able to thank him, but most importantly she would never get to beat him for being so stupid. Luna started running back towards the direction of the scream, when she finally reached it. She saw Helios on one knee in front of two bodys, they were covered in flowers all over so she couldn't see the wounds. Although she smelled the sent of fresh death, the warm blood still sinking out of the omega's skin.

" What happened" Luna said timidly
