Prolgue: Disease Spreads

It was about 2:30 in the afternoon, your just sitting there listening to music while doing your homework. You thought you had heard your mom call you name but when you take your headphone out all you is hear is moaning. Getting up curiously you leave your room only to see that your parents aren't your parent. You immediately think of the new disease that's spreading through the world. In a panic you rush to the kitchen grabbing a knife remembering that the only way to kill these zombie things is their head. You grab a knife as your "parents" start to follow you. You hesitate for a second before stabbing both of them in the head. Thinking that they got your little sister you rush into her room only to find her crying in a corner. Your rush over to her hugging her and reassuring her that everything is going to be fine. You pull her up and set her on the bed telling her not to go anywhere. You go to your parents room grabbing the biggest suit case and packing you both some clothes. You grab as many bags as you can find packing canned foods and snacks to leave and try to find a shelter. You grab as many weapons as you can find and quietly put them in the trunk of you moms car. You sneak your sister out and into the car and you head out. You swore to yourself that no matter what you would protect your sister.
