Jayla's POV

Bam! Bam! Bam!

We hear gun shots coming from inside the house and we quickly jump away from each other in a heartbeat.

"What's happening?" I ask as Kevin helps me out the pool. He shrugged his shoulders.

He runs in the house quickly pulling out a gun from a draw in the living room. My legs become weak. I never thought Kevin would be a type in a gang. Shooting kept going on.

I heard teenagers screaming and running out the house. I had to find Keisha quickly. I started running inside the house looking in the bathrooms.

"Keisha!" I screamed at the top of lungs. I saw hiding in the shower. I saw her crying. "Keisha come on let's go." She shook her head no.

I saw her holding her stomach. I saw blood. She been shot. I quickly got her on her feet. I quickly out my arm under her underarms to try to hold her.

"I don't think I can make it." She breathe out.

"Don't say that you are going to make it." I started to cry.

When we got downstairs, I heard no more guns being shot. I looked around to see dead bodies everywhere. I turned to see Kevin standing up with blood on shirt and out of breath.

"What happen." I looked around at a dead girl with her eyes still open in shock with blood coming out from her mouth.

"Quan." He walked up to me to take Keisha to the hospital. I knew he didn't want to talk about.

"Where is Rico and Mike?" I ask.

"They are in the car." He carried Keisha's body in the car. We all got in not saying a word to each other. Kevin was speeding to the hospital.

We got there and we rushed to the front desk. They took her in a hospital room immediately. I sat down in the waiting room. I hope Keisha is okay.

Kevin grabbed my hand and squeezed it tight. I lay my head on his shoulder. Before I knew I was slowly drifting off to sleep.

I felt someone wake me up from my deep sleep. I look around and see we are still at the hospital.

"The doctor said we can now see Keisha she is out of surgery. She is going to be find." I smiled at Kevin.

I got up from the chair and led to the hospital room. I took my phone out call her sister, Chelsea. Keisha lived with her sister because 3 years ago both of her parents died in a car crash when a drunk driver hit them.

Me: Hey Chelsea

Chelsea: Hey what's up with you calling me 4:00 in the morning? Where is Chelsea?
