The Divergent Maze Games

Chapter 1

Katniss's POV:

I scream Prim's name as I woke up. I looked around and I see Peeta with me and Four and Tris a few meters away.*This is not a dream* I thought * This is real *. Prim being chosen to go to the maze to 'fight to death', me volunteering to save Prim's life, Peeta,Four,Tris and me going to the maze. It was all real. Peeta grumbled as he found out that I was awake." Bad dream?" He asked me. I nod and shivered. I was so freaked out and terrified that I didn't notice that it was freezing out in the maze.

I try to fall back asleep as Peeta keeps me warm. *Prim...., Mom.....,Gale.....* I thought. I miss them so much that it is like being stabbed in the heart by a invisible knife. I close my eyes and my memories flashes in my mind.

I pictured everyone in district 12 stands still as someone said " The four people that is going to our 74th Hunger Games will be........ Primrose Everdeen and..." I inturupted and yelled "I volunteer! " I remembered Prim being shocked. I didn't care. All I want is Prim to be safe even if I have to lose my life. I've already lost Dad, I can't bear to see Prim die."Okay, our two girls that will be in our Hunger Games will be Katniss Everdeen and.....Beatrice Prior" A girl about my age with blond hair walk up, looking terrified. "Now, the two boys are... Peeta Mellark and ......Tobias Eaton" Two boys walk up and looks at each other and looked at me and Beatrice. All four of us were horrified. Then I hear... growling?

I wake up startled. I see a large machine-like monster right in front of me. "Watch out Katniss!" Tris shouted. I tried to scream but no sound came out. It was a Greiver. I was petrified. Then, I see something ,someone behind the Greiver. It was Peeta.
