The Divergent Maze Games

Chapter 3

Tris's POV:

Tobias and I have been walking for an hour. The backpacks we have were heavy and we decided we should stop and rest.I feel so guilty for leaving Katniss and Peeta behind. I turn and look at Tobias. His face was blank. No sadness, no happiness, just blank."I feel like a jerk leavin them behind." I mumbled. Tobias turns around to look at me." It is not your fault. You were terrified an ran away" he said. "Were you scared?" I asked quietly. " Nope, not at all. Well... Until you ran away" I was surprised " what? " Tobias smiled and said "I was scared when you ran away because I didn't want anything to happen to you" I didn't know what to say. "I still..." Tobais interrupted me as he leaned in and kissed me. I felt a burst of heat and I knew I was blushing alot. I placed my hands gently on his neck and i tangled my fingers in his hair. Everywhere he touched me, felt like a electric shock. Then suddenly, we hear someone or something walking. We both turned to the noice and grabed out knives.

We walk towards the noice and we heard a very faint call for help.Tobias walks in front of me, holding a knife in one hand and held my hand on the other. We went closer, closer an closer. Then Tobias ran, dragging me with him. We ran and ran until the noise was suddenly gone. Tobias and I looked around and saw a dead end. We both knew that we were lost. We were complete idiots. Why didnt we bring the backpacks filled with food, water and tools? Now we are lost without food, water, and sleeping bags. We were complete idiots.

"What was I thinking?! Urg, come on let's go find matches or something to start a fire." Tobias mummbled. We were confused, frustrated and tired. We stumbled throughout the maze until we heard weeping. I heard that cry before. I thought. Then, we here someone yelling for help. I try to follow the sound but Tobais pulled me back." We don't want to fall for that trick again. I nodded but I thought it sounds like Katniss and Peeta calling for help.

We hear it again and this time didn't care. I didn't care what Tobias says anymore. I ran to the noise, every step the yelling gets louder. Finally, I saw who it was. They were Katniss and Peeta and they are traped under a net.
