Days have gone by, but Matt didn't feel any different, always in constant pain, always sad and angry. He feels like god is punishing him, but for what ?
Matt wakes up (still in the hospital) and he hears a conversation outside his room, it was a conversation between he father and one of the doctors, "what do you mean he's permanently blind ?!... Have you tried everything?... God fucking damn it, this cant be happening" Jack Murdock entered the room, there are tears on his face. "Matty are you awake?" He asked , matt didn't answer but Jack just guessed he was awake, "im sorry im so so sorry Matt, but you are blind forever the doctors cant fix you" Matt started cryin, he got up and hugged his father like he never hugged him before and he continued crying on jack's shoulder."its going to be okay Matty we are going to get through this, you are going to be okay". The next day Matt woke up, hes eyes didn't hurt anymore,but still he couldn't see anything, but he can hear things from other flores of the hospital, he can hear things from outside the building and the window is closed"why is this happening?" Matt asked himself quietly , then he heard footsteps from the hallway that were getting closer to his room, Matt was surprised by them. The person who made the footsteps was at the door, the door opened and an old man entered the room, Matt knew it was an old man because of the old smell of his clothes and he walked so slowly. "Who is this" Matt asked, "im the old man that you saved from that truck, im sorry for what happened to you, you didn't have to save me but thank you" the old man had some flowers, even though he was pretty far away from Matt, Matt could smell the flowers like the old man is shoving them to his face , they had a very good smell, "i brought some flowers and uh... I need to go but for now on i will always remember what you did to me, i will remember you like you are a son to me, i will remember you until the day i die because you, you are a hero, once again thank you my friend". The old man left the room, that speech got Matt in a better mood, he feels better and stronger. The next day, Matt will finally be out of the hospital and Matt is ready
