chapter 9: revenge

Ever since that day Matt would go every night to Stick with excitement, he feels safe and happy with Stick (even though he is a jerk sometimes). There were even times where Matt almost called Stick Dad. Stick always referenced a some sort war, and when Matt asked him, Stick would just say " you will know, when the time comes, you will goddamn know..". Fixer didn't gave up on Matt, ever since that day that he's 4 thugs went missing, Fixer saw Matt as a problem. the Fixer got older over the years, he's still thinking about that day when he put a bullet into Jack's head, " why didn't i kill that goddman kid?!" He thinks to himself every day. Stick gave Matt a piece of black Bandana to cover his eyes and his whole head , it has a strong smell of dry blood and sweat. "you'll need this to keep your identity as a secret" Stick said. Over the years Matt got better and better, he could actually get up in the morning and learn, he believes that his dad is looking down at him with that big warm smile on his face that Matt loved so much

Seven years later, 23:40

Room 66, Matt never thought he'll get to this point in his life, law school.
Matt dreamed on being a lawyer for such a long time that he finally got accepted. , There's someone in the room , a room mate, Matt was kind of nervous, he wasn't told that he will have a room mate, this will make everything worse. Room 66, Matt opened the door, the main room has two beds, there is a bathroom, a kitchen, everything. "Oh, i wasnt told i would have a room mate" a teenager, the same age as Matt got up from bed, he was working at his laptop before Matt arrived. "Me neither" Matt said.
"My name is Franklin Nelson but you can call me Foggy" he positioned his hand for a hand shake, a good second passed and then Foggy realised, "oh shit, im sorry, y-you are blind?!"
"Yeah"
"Im sorry, i dont have any problem with you being blind its just i- uh"
"I understand that, don't worry, I've got alot of similar reactions"
Matt said
"Wow, you have some muscles for a blind man!"
Foggy said
"Gotta impress the ladies"
Matt said, both of them laughed
"Noe thats a response, i have a feeling you and i will get together nicely"
They both continued laughing for a couple of good minutes.
"What's your name by the way?"
"Matt Murdock"
"Wait, I've heard that name before"
Matt knew what kind of question he's about to ask.
"Are you some how connected to Battlin' Jack Murdock"
"Yes i was his son"
"Oh, fuck, im so sorry i completely forgot i-"
"Listen its fine, long time has passed since the day he died, I've grown over it" Matt was lying, he isn't over it, especially not now, when he's so close to actually confront the killer.
"So uh, do you want to go to Elbong's Burgers in about an hour?"
"I cant, i have a class in about an hour, maybe some other day"
Matt walked out of the room and then out of the school, he passed some streets and got to an alleyway , he puts on the black Bandana over his head and eyes, then he put on a black sweat shirt and climbed to the top of the building and jumped from building to building, he and Stick have a plan to stop the Fixer for good, get some of his most loyal men to talk and then get rid of them, to not raise suspicion. They tracked down a man who works for the Fixer but maybe he doesn't know about the Fixer, but still he has to be holding some information. "You're late" Stick said "you're lucky he decided to have some extra drinks for tonight".
"Matt stood by Stick, they stood on a roof of abuilding that is infront of a bar, in that bar is the man they need.
"He is leaving, he is very drunk, he doesn't have shit against you"

The streets were empty, its suicide to walk out in midnight, in this city. The man could bearly walk straight, he mumbled some stuff underneath his breath. The drunk man passed an alley way but then he got grabbed by Matt and then he got a punch to the face, he fell down, Matt stood over him, punching his face constantly. The drunk man's face was covered in blood.
"What do you know about the Fixer?" Matt asked angrily,
The drunk man strated mumbling again
"I-i dont know anything"
He was liying, Matt heard his heart beat .
He continued punching the man, but then when Matt was ready to punch him once again the man started speaking
"Stop stop, i-i know someone that might have the information that you need"
"Where is he ?" Matt yelled

"H-his name is Hank, he's currently at 11th Ave in a building on top of some sort of café, floor 5 apartment 19, please just don't kill me"

Matt kicked him in the face, he passed out on the floor. Matt went back to Stick who has been listening to the whole heard the whole thing.
"Wasn't as a shit show as i expected, but why didn't you kill him? Don't tell me you're too afraid or some bullshit like that"
Matt was silent
" next time finish the job, these clowns are just criminals, they chose they're way of living and they need to suffer the consequences. Now go already!"

11th Ave
Matt was infront of Sapa's Café, he went up the stairs in an alleyway of the café and went up the stairs of the building, "HELP PLEASE SOMO-" a young woman screamed from the apartment "shut your goddman mouth!" A man yelled Matt started running up the stairs, he got to the apartment, who ever is in the apartment forgot to lock the door. Matt listened, there are 5 people in the room, 2 of them are scared, their hearts are beating like crazy, the rest of the people there are armed.
"So mr Ben, can you explain why you didn't pay the Fixer for his genores service to you, he helped you get rid of the mean- mean thugs in your bar, and you still didn't pay"
"Please i told you, i will pay next month, i-i don't have the money, please if give me enough tim-"
"Quiet old man, I've heard enough excuses"
"Don't you dare touch papa you son of a bitches!!"
The woman screamed, she is on a chair, tied up
"Can some body shut that bitch?!"
"Dont you dare fucking touch m-"
One of the men put tape on her mouth
"Please just leave my daughter alone"
The old man said
"Oh poor old Ben, because you don't have the money we will kill you and your daughter, slowly, we will slit your throats and then sell your body parts, starting now"
Matt pushed opened the door
"Who the fuck are you ?" Hank said
One of the men who was guarding the door pulled out a pistol but Matt grabbed his hand and twisted it, making a very loud crunch noise, then he took the gun and threw it to Hank's face making him fall to the floor, the other guy shot his gun but missed Matt, then Matt pushed the man to the wall and punched him a couple of times until he was knocked down and fell to the floor. Hank took his gun and aimed at Matt but before he could pull the trigger Matt threw one of his wooden sticks at Hank, breaking his nose, he took an empty glass bottle and broke it. He held the part that was left of the bottle and stabbed Hank on the leg
He screamed from pain
"Get you and your daughter out of here and call the police"
"Th-thank you" Ben said, he untied his daughter's hands from the chair and they both left the place.
"What do you want, huh, money?"
Matt pushed harder the broken bottle to his leg, Hank screamed even more in pain
"Im not interested in money, where is the Fixer"
"Go fuck yourself!"
Hank yelled
"Im going to make this clear, im not leaving until i get the information that i want, now i can continue pushing this bottle to your leg, then when the bottle will go through your leg, i will push it out and do the same thing to your other leg, now talk!"
Matt pushed the bottle even more, blood spattered all other the floor, Hank screamed even louder
"TALK NOW!"
Matt yelled, he could hear the neighbors watching him.
"FINE, he's in a warehouse a couple of blocks away from here"
Matt stood up
"Get out of my city"
"This is nones city, you are a dead man"
Matt heard the police coming , he got to the roof of the building, Stick was there,
"And again, you didn't kill him"
"Stick, i-"
"I don't want to hear it, you got your information, you get there and finish off that bastard, i will be listening"

Matt has been waiting for this moment for a long time, he is ready to face the devil
