Chapter 1: first day

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I woke up and looked at my alarm clock.

-7:30-

It's too early. I turned my head from the annoying sound aiming from my clock. I could still hear it so I put a pillow over my head. My brother came skipping down the hallway. He stopped and soon enough my comfy duvet was pulled off of me. I groaned

"You better be ready slow poke. Its your first day of school!" He got onto my bed and started jumping moving me from my balled up position.

"OKAY GOD DAMNIT I'M UP NOW GET OUT." I screamed at him. he laughed and skipped out of my room. how can he be so happy?

I put on a short sleeve black crop top that said hipsta in white letters. Then I put on my sea green high waisted shorts, black vans, and my black beanie that says no photos please in white letters. I straightened my hair and put on some make up which consisted of eyeliner and mascara. Then I looked in the mirror, smiled, and ran downstairs.

Ryan was sitting at the table chowing down on bacon. I saw that he only had one price left so my natural hungry instincts kicked in and I grabbed it and ran.

"HEY!' he shouted but I just giggled. He started to chase me around the house. He finally caught me but before he could grab the piece, I stuck it in my mouth.

I grabbed my backpack and ran outside to the bus stop. Since it hadn't come yet I went on twitter and saw that caroline had gotten tickets to an O2l meet and greet along with some other interesting things. Of course. Ugh I do not see what is so cool about them. Whatever..

Soon an ugly mustard yellow bus came up. I'm suprised. I thought this school would be more prim and proper. Caroline goes to it. But then again Caroline is anything but prim and proper.

I was looking for empty seats. Everyone had either a bag on their seat or another person.

"Hey you can sit here if you want?'

I looked over to see a boy. He was attractive by just looking at him. he had dark brown hair and green eyes. his jawline was a sharp cute and he had a very cute smile playing on his lips.

"Thank you." I said quietly taking a seat next to him. He scooted closer to the window giving me more room then stuck out his hand.

"No problem, I'm Alex by the way." I took the out stretched hand and shook.

"I'm Ashley."

"I like that name." He said showing some dimples. I could feel heat rushing to my cheeks

We made small talk until we got there. He asked me about my old school and I asked him about here. I got off the bus and he followed shortly behind.

"Hey would you like me to show you around school." He asked looking at the schedule I Had in my hands.

I was going to agree when I realized that Caroline would be here any minute. She would want to show me everything no doubt about it.

"Sorry my friend will be here any minute but it was nice meeting you."

He looked a little sad but soon he took his phone out of his pocket.

"Can I at least have your number?" He said putting in new contacts in his phone.

I agreed and gave him my number. He waved goodbye and walked away as Caroline came bounding to me. What is with everyone being so happy today?

"GUESS WHAT, GUESS WHAT, GUESS WHAAAAT!!!!!" She screamed into my ears. A couple people turned around to look at the commotion but soon turned back to the friends realizing it was just Caroline. You could say Caroline was popular but that would be an understatement.

"What." I said rather annoyed.

"So you know how I got those tickets to an O2l meet and greet?" She said as she finally stopped jumping.

"Yaaaaa?" I said skeptically.

"Well..." She pulled out 2 tickets, "I got one for you!!!!!!!" She screamed once again.

"That's great thank you" I said faking enthusiasm. This is not exciting. Anything but. But I had to put on. A fake smile for my friend. Hey I thought, at least I would be leaving school for a week.

That night I got a text.

Alex: hey:) we should totally hangout next week. Movie?

Ashley: hey thank you but I have a meet and greet thing. Sorry

Alex: It's fine. I'll.. talk to you later.
