Bold and Underlined- Chapter TitleSorry this has taken so long to get out! Thank you for those that have been patient. I've been writing in journals again and recently moved so I had to keep track of my journals, find time to write (which I've obviously had more time to do so recently) and then transfer what I wrote on the pages to Wattpad. I just find it a little easier for the writing itself if I do it in a journal. Not the easiest method for digital publishing though. I hope you all remain to be patient as I slowly get chapters out. I've also been dealing with a bit of writers block. Not regarding the story itself- I have quite a bit to work with from the old version (which will still be available for those that want to compare) If there's a particular part from the old version you all would like to keep please tell me and I will work on finding a way to include it! Now on to what you've all been waiting for!!
Intro
A green-haired boy walks through the halls on his way to his final class of the day. People look away from him and stop their conversations as he walks past. His eyes stare blankly in front of him, walking with a straight back as his pale arms swing gently on either side of his body. Even with a slim body and arms, he has a lot of muscle under his pale skin. He doesn't look like it, but he can and will kick your ass if you get in his way. It wasn't something he means to do, but he doesn't care to change it. In fact, there isn't much of anything he cares about. Most people just aren't interesting to him, especially his classmates, who all have weak or useless quirks
The only one who doesn't, other than himself, is an old friend of his named Bakugo Katsuki, who has an explosive quirk- literally- to go with his explosive personality. His hands sweat a liquid that acts like nitroglycerin and he can ignite it, causing explosions to erupt from his palms. However, despite his powerful quirk, his old friend fears him. The one who won't shut up about how great his quirk is, falls silent and avoids angering the slim boy.
Even though you might think he doesn't seem to mind being alone, his lack of emotions is learned from years of people avoiding and fearing him. With a powerful quirk, incredible intellect and the muscle to swing someone over him, he's a scary person to anger. All that put together, people were sure he would become a villain. However, much to everyones surprise but his own and Bakugou's, he signed up for the UA hero course.
As he arrives at his class, he takes his seat at the back of the room. He looks to his left, looking out the window to the world beyond. He hears other students entering the room and shuffling into their seats.
He hears Bakugou's yelling stop as he enters the room, presumably trying to figure out the slim boys mood, if the boy in question were to guess. How he thinks the other boy is feeling determines how rowdy the blonde can be. On this particular day, he's not really in a good mood, but not in a bad mood either. This means the blonde can be himself but to keep an eye on the slim boy for any changes- specifically negative changes. He lets out a breath and goes to his seat, cracking jokes and being loud with his friends.
The green boy looks to those friends, he can't tell if Katsuki's friends are actually his friends or if they're just hanging out with him because they think he's popular. Which he kind of is, but only because he's outgoing and confident. At the same time, he's a bully, and his friends fuel him and support him, even joining in. Depending on the day and how he's feeling, this may not bother him. But on days when he's in a bad mood, this bothers him greatly- due to the noise it creates annoying him to no end. You may think it's because he hates that Bakugou is hurting some poor kid, but as stated earlier: he doesn't care much for other his classmates.
As soon as the bell rings to signal the start of class, the teacher enters. All, well, most of the students quiet down. Bakugou continues to be rowdy, until he sees the slim boys eyebrows scrunch together and his eyes hardening to a glare, jaw clenching. The blonde quiets, turning his attention to the board. As soon as he falls quiet, the room feels a weight pressing down on them, the air feeling thick in their lungs as they all go rigid, trying not to make a sound. They all assume he lets Bakugou and his friends off a bit because they used to be friends This is false, of course, but that doesn't stop people from thinking it.
