I sat in my bunk, fooling with the headboard. It made an annoying squeaky noise; I could tell my brother, Jaycee, was getting really annoyed.
"I'm trying to fill this crap out. Could you shut up for just a minute?!"
He pierced his eyes with mine and glared.
I looked away instantly.
"Sorry," I mumbled.
"You know, you have to fill out YOUR form, too." He informed me.
"I don't want another interview. We're never going to get adopted, Jaycee. We might as well not waste the time filling out these stupid forms."
Jaycee didn't say a word. All I could hear was his pen circling things and the squeaky headboard.
Someone knocked at the door.
'Probably Ms. Kal' I thought.
Ms. Kal is the owner of the adoption center. She always checks on us and tries to arrange interviews for my brother and I (which I obviously hate).
"Come in," Jaycee said, not looking up.
Ms. Kal's face peered into our small room.
"Your interview is in 20 minutes!" She informed us.
"Great." I said sarcastically.
"Have you finished your form as well, Carsyn?" She asked me.
"Why on earth would I waste my time on that?!"
"Because. The family wants additional info on you."
"I'll just tell them at the stupid interview."
Ms. Kal sighed and shut the door.
"You don't have to be such a bitch." Jaycee snarled at me.
"I'm not being a bitch. I'm a teenage girl who speaks her mind"

"Carsyn. Jaycee. Please step into my office to meet Mr. and Mrs. Iero." Ms. Kal told us.
'Thats weird,' I thought, 'Whoever they are have the same last name as my hero, Frank Iero.'
I entered the room in confusion.
"Is everything okay, Carsyn?" Ms. Kal asked me.
"Yeah everything's fi-"
I looked up and saw the most shocking thing of my life. I almost cried. I froze. The beautiful sight I saw was Frank Iero and his wife- Jamia.
Frank, Jamia, Jaycee and Ms. Kal stared at me in confusion.
"Carsyn?" Ms. Kal broke the silence.
"Uhh.. Sorry. Yeah I'm fine."
I sat down in a seat across from (hopefully) my future parents.

The interview went great. Jaycee and I discussed our interests, Frank eyeballed my MCR tee the whole time, and we even discussed MCRs new album (once thy figured out I was a fan). I was awesome! I felt so comfortable talking to them, and so did Jaycee. Ms. Kal made us leave the room so the three of them could talk alone.
"Hey starstruck girl," Jaycee joked with me.
"Shut up!" I giggled.
"I really like them. I think this could actually be our 'chance'" Jaycee said with a serious look on his face.
I knew exactly what he mean by chance. I knew we were going to get adopted today. I suddenly felt happy. It wasn't because of my anti- depressants medication; it was because I was going to be adopted by my hero!
When we were invited back in the room, Ms. Kal told us to pack our things because Frank and Jamia (or should I say mom and dad) were going to be back in a week. I started crying and Frank held me in his arms. I soon noticed he was crying, too. I couldn't believe what was happening. It was all so- sudden. I couldn't believe I was moving into a house. Not a old, smelly building with 3 other kids in a room with me. This was happening. It wasn't a dream.
