CHAPTER 2: Getting cozy

A week passed, and I couldn't wait to get out of this dump. Jaycee and I said our goodbye to our roommates and Ms. Kal. Finally when the day came, Frank and Jamia arrived in their Toyota Highlander and Jaycee and I piled our stuff in the back.

The whole ride home was just Frank and Jamia informing us on our 'new' life.

Jaycee and I are going to go to Belleville high. They have three kids: Cherry, Lily and Miles. Here's the funny part: they own NINE dogs. I know. Crazy, right?! Anyway, Jaycee and I are still sharing a room and Jamia will help us decorate it. Frank will go shopping with Jaycee and I tomorrow and they told us how pretty Belleville is. They informed us that we will get comfy really easily.

When we finally arrived at the small, modern home. We piled out of the car, grabbed our bags and rang the doorbell.

"Gerard is watching the kiddos." Frank whispered to me.

I nodded.

Gerard answered the door and greeted Frank and Jamia. Then, he peered behind the two to look at Jaycee and I.

"You must be the killjoy!" He said smiling at me.

"Haha yeah I guess!" I giggled.

"Carsyn, right?"

"Yeah that's my name. You were probably expecting a dude to be me."

"No, no. Frank told me all about you two."

I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not.

But I didn't care.

I met Gerard Way and moved into a beautiful home. What could go wrong?
