"Woah-ho, those are some excited little dudes," Funshine commented as the six bears watched the little whiffles run past in an eager flurry.

"Yes, the whiffles love christmas!" Bedtime commented from his care-link connection. He held up his book.
"They have a special star, a person they want to honour cleans and prepares it before the christmas night ceremony!"

"Why is it special?" Cheer asked.
"Oh!" Bedtime turned the page, revealing a magical looking painting of sparkles and glowing pictures that lit up the sky, all coming from a shining star in the center of the page.

The bears all oohed and aahed in awe and appreciation.

Suddenly, a distressed squeak sounded from behind them. "My frog my frog!"
A young whiffle was crying, looking around desperately. Some other whiffles were trying to comfort them- trying to find out whats wrong, but they were so upset all they would say was "Froggy!!" and burst into tears.

As expected the first to notice was Share, who showed a look of empathy before going over and bending down.
"Hey there," She said gently, though the whiffle was clearly too upset to talk.

"Awww, it's ok!" She cooed, reaching her paws out and holding its stubby arms.
"Just take a deep breath, I'll help you find what you're looking for."

The whiffle sniffed with a trembling lip and snuggled into her paw. Share gently lifted it up and held it under her chin for a moment.

"What's wrong?" Cheer asked, coming over with the other bears.
Share put the whiffle in her lap,
"I don't know," She looked down at the little whiffle and gave a smile.
"What have you lost, little one?"

"My froggy toy!!" They squeaked.

"Aww," Share pet it's head, "I'll help you look for it, where did you see it last?"

They looked at her earnestly. "I woke up, it was gone!"

Another whiffle looked to share. "Jingle goes to sleep with froggy," They explained.

"I see," Share said, getting to her feet while holding the little whiffle.
"Where do you sleep Jingle?"

Jingle made a sound and pointed to a patch of crystal blue shrubbery. "Under there!"

Share went over, placing the whiffle down and putting a paw to her chin. She went over and leaned down, before her face lit up.
"Here he is!" She said, reaching in and pulling out a small frog plush. She went back to Jingle, handing it to him.

"Next time, instead of panicking, you just have to take a breath and ask for help, okay?" She said gently, bending down to Jingle.

Jingle took his froggy and snuggled it. He nodded at Share. "Froggy!!"

Share then noticed the other whiffles crowded around her, marvelling. "Thank you, Share bear!" One squeaked.

Share turned and smiled at them, feeling a happy tickling in her heart.
"No problem! I'm here to help," She said warmly.

The bears all sat, enjoying their dinner and a cool sunset. They passed a few jokes, watched the whiffles play and thanked Grumpy for the meal.

While packing up the plates together, an elderly whiffle approached Share, followed by a crowd of other excitable whiffles. The elderly one held a star- the star!

Share stopped what she was doing and looked at them with interest,
"Oh, isn't it just beautiful!" She admired, to which her friends who'd gathered around to look, agreed aloud.

The elderly whiffle cleared her throat, before speaking.
"This is the christmas star! For years we have been using it for a magical and replenishing display of lights and life!" She held it up, and Share's eyes sparkled.
"It is very important for the gardens. Every year an honoured whiffle or creature is chosen to prepare it for the night."
